The PureInsight website (pureinsight.org) is intended to pave the way for the human civilization of the new era, and, at the same time, to make Dafa practitioners' understandings of life, the human body and the universe evident to everyday people. We all know legends that describe how the Gods created heaven and earth, and how they created humankind from earth. We have heard the legends of how fire making and writing were given as gifts from Gods...There are many such legends. But all of them belong to the history of the past. As Master Li said in his "Lecture at the Conference in New Zealand", "But humankind in the future will not know about the Dafa and me. People will pass it down as a legend for many years to come, just like fairy tales that people will tell for ages. They will also remember the serious lessons that are left to humans when living beings at this level are repositioned in the end." Dafa disciples are all cultivators. A PureInsight website full of articles from Dafa disciples should leave a legacy that is both beautiful and pure for the people of the future.

Therefore, PureInsight and Zhengjian (correct or true understanding, the Chinese language sister website) have to be true and uncorrupted and have to deserve to be left behind for the people of the future. But everything that is human, everything that has occurred throughout the human history, and even many various cultivation methods are all deformed. The only things brand new are the righteous thoughts, wisdom and supernormal abilities that Dafa practitioners have developed as they cultivate themselves in Dafa. Anything that is obtained as a part of cultivation within Dafa can be published on the PureInsight. It is not to say that we cannot use anything that exists in today's society. We can still use positive examples and facts. But we need to be careful and make sure that they are used to validate the points of views of Dafa disciples and not to spread or preach the old ideas. We also need to pay attention to the angles from which we choose to apply them.

Science is something that has to be learned. It needs to be validated, rationalized, and discussed. There is already something wrong with this picture. That is not the way it should be; it has already deviated from the truth. But true understanding is not like that. After a being has been rectified as a part of the Fa-rectification process, he can automatically see the truth in its entirety. When that truth is presented, it is naturally a true understanding or a "pure insight."

In its first few weeks, most of the articles posted on PureInsight were translated from Zhengjian, and we will continue to post worthy articles from our Chinese language sister website. As more and more English-speaking practitioners advance in their cultivation and come to the PureInsight website, however, their contributions should increase. Practitioners can start from their own smallest understandings about life and the universe when they write articles for PureInsight. There are no rules governing the content of a PureInsight article. Do not be restricted by the different subcategories of the website. Talk about a single principle that you have been enlightened or a small improvement in your mind and body! Talk about your thoughts about how the future civilization, society or moral standard should be! Write down what you have seen, what you have felt, and what you have thought in your cultivation. Every single article is just like a small drop of water. With enough drops of water, an entire ocean can be formed. The articles for PureInsight should not be "requested." They should be "delivered." As long as every single particle realizes from the bottom of his own heart what the position and purpose of PureInsight is, the website will naturally become a place for Dafa practitioners to help create the new science and the new civilization of the future. As Dafa particles, using the wisdom given to us by Dafa to create new science and new civilization are our undeniable duties.

The entire human society is deformed. Certain things can easily be seen to be evil. There are also other things that appear to be good and kind on the surface but are actually deformed as well. Those are hard to detect. Master Li said, "Everything in the environment that today's humankind lives in is impure (unofficial translation)." Even though every single practitioner has a part that has cultivated well and has developed his own true understanding from his cultivation, we still live among everyday people and have parts that are contaminated without our knowing about them. Articles in PureInsight could help us see the deformities in everything around us, including ourselves.

Master Li said in the "Lecture at the US East Coast Conference", "Because of our cultivation and Fa-study environment, things discussed and words uttered among students when they get together are noble and benevolent. It is the purest environment and is hard to find--it's very hard to find in human society. It is the most benevolent and most magnificent piece of pure land. Therefore, you must not lose this environment. Because human society continues to decline, it's getting worse and worse. You all have a job in this ordinary human society, or you have social activities--all of you have contact with everyday people and the ordinary human society. Consequently, what you see and hear, intentionally or unintentionally, is all associated with matters of everyday people. This would interfere with your cultivation. So it will be beneficial if you regularly study the Fa together and often use this basin of fresh water to cleanse yourselves."

We ask all the practitioners to participate in the Fa rectification process by supporting the PureInsight website, and build it into a website that records the deformities that exist in today's civilization and works to create a new civilization. At the same time, we hope the website will be like a Fa conference that helps all the practitioners to share their experiences and elevate themselves.
