A group of women practice Falun Gong in front of the Lloyd George Federal Courthouse on Wednesday morning to bring attention to the Chinese government's persecution of practitioners of the meditation form.

Eighty-year-old Chunpu Ma of San Gabriel, Calif., addresses the gathering. Chunpu credits Falun Gong with reversing her failing health. She said she spent three days in a Beijing jail in 1999 for refusing to stop practicing meditation in public.
