1) Amazing efficiency -- all Scottish practitioners got into action!

When we heard other practitioners were organizing long-distance SOS walks, we decided that we should walk from Edinburgh to London. But it was already quite late. In order to attend the SOS activities in Manchester on July 20, we had to be extremely efficient in our preparation work. All practitioners in Scotland quickly got into well-coordinated action, including Western practitioners who had just started practicing. We worked day and night, many of us sleeping only 4 or 5 hours per night. In just a few days, we set up an information center, informed the media, had banners and SOS T-shirts made, wrote several press releases in both Chinese and English, and organized a press conference in which members of Amnesty International also participated. Everybody played an important part in the work, and we also got a lot of support from some practitioners in England. We worked in good coordination, and truly felt we were functioning as one body. Therefore our work got very positive results.

2) This is a meaningful walk -- report by BBC Radio (Scotland)

I found the banner shop when I was already tired out and almost gave up. The shop owner quickly designed the banner, and introduced a T-shirt factory to me. So, after a whole day without any progress, two big problems were suddenly solved simultaneously within the last half hour before I gave up. I felt the power of the Fa -- this was just a test of our xinxing!

Two days later, when I went to the shop again to fetch the banner and pay for it, the shop owner said, "This is a meaningful walk. I should give you the banner for free." I couldn''t believe it, because it is very expensive to make such high-quality banners in the UK. When I told other practitioners about this, everyone was moved and felt happy for this young man, whose kindness and integrity had brought himself a wonderful future.

When I came back home, BBC Radio (Scotland) was interviewing my wife on what she experienced when we went back to China to safeguard the Fa when she had been pregnant for 8 months, and what we experienced after our baby was born. When I showed them this beautiful banner and told them what happened, everyone acclaimed with joy and surprise.

While I was walking a few days later, BBC broadcast this 30-minute interview. In the program, they also talked about our SOS walk, and read out the words on the banner: "SOS -- Urgent Rescue Falun Gong Practitioners Persecuted in China". They told the audience the story of the banner, and what the shop owner said -- "This is a meaningful walk!"
