By Following Teacher's Words, We Can Overcome Any Tribulation

(Clearwisdom.net) In the past, I always had a strong attachment of fear, and on several occasions I wasn't able to pass the test well [in order to give this attachment up.] Every time I read articles on Clearwisdom.net, I admired those fellow practitioners who performed outstandingly, and at the same time I was also greatly encouraged. I often wondered when I would be like them and take every step well on my own journey!

A recent experience helped me to get rid of my attachment of fear, and it also strengthened my belief in Dafa's power. One day, when I was encouraged and inspired by Teacher's article "Dafa Disciples' Righteous Thoughts are Powerful" and full of confidence, I carried a large bag of truth-clarifying literature on my back and went to the nearby countryside to distribute them. On my way there, I gave them out as I walked. When I was handing them out, someone caught me and asked, "What're you distributing?" I answered, "They're advertisements, they're good stuff." After I said that, I felt a little ashamed, for I didn't tell the truth. Someone reported me when I was half way through. The police came to arrest me, but I refused to get in the van, and firmly resisted their body search. Then, they took me to the police station by force and put me in solitary confinement. I sent out the righteous thought, "This is not a place for me to stay, I should get out." In addition, I silently recited Teacher's Fa-rectification verse: "The Fa rectifies the Cosmos, the Evil is completely eliminated." Later, they interrogated me and asked my name. I said, "rectify the Fa." They asked where I came from, and I said, "from the universe." I took advantage of this opportunity and promoted the Fa to them. I said, "What I'm doing is the most righteous and the most magnificent thing in the universe. Dafa practitioners are using benevolence to save you. If you don't awaken your conscience, you'll be eliminated. You incarcerated me without any due process required by law, so it's illegal..." Because I promoted the Fa to them, they didn't make any further trouble for me.

In the evening, two fierce-looking policemen came in and tried to coerce me into telling them my name and address. They also yelled, "Today, even if you have an iron mouth and steel teeth, I'll still get you to speak." Right then I thought, "You're really underestimating us Dafa practitioners." They conducted a body search and tried to snatch my money, so I shouted, "The police are stealing my money!" They were intimidated and stopped. Then, they ordered me to kneel down for them; I remembered Teacher's words, "No matter what the situation, do not cooperate with the evil's demands, orders, or what it instigates." (From Teacher's article "Dafa Disciples' Righteous Thoughts Are Powerful") So I ignored them. I wanted to resist and eradicate the evil, so they continuously slapped me on my face out of anger and frustration. Teacher said, ".... do not endure passively, and face the evil people with righteous thoughts at all times." (From Teacher's article "Dafa Disciples' Righteous Thoughts Are Powerful") So I thought in my heart: "I am a particle in Dafa, a being established for Dafa. The evil isn't worthy of testing Dafa. Dafa shouldn't have to endure, and so I shouldn't either. Return the evil's persecution against us, and let them have it." Instantly, my pain was alleviated, and they began to suffer. However, they stubbornly adhered to their incorrect understandings and didn't feel regret for their wrongdoing.

A while later, they began whipping me with a leather belt and violently stomping on my feet with their heavy leather shoes. No matter how hard they tried, I always faced the evil with righteous thoughts. Although I looked awful because of being beaten, I only felt a little discomfort. They tortured me for a long time, but still couldn't subdue me. They got tired, so they took me out to the hall and tried to hang me there by my handcuffs. I was determined and refused to cooperate, and said to them in a stern voice, "You'll suffer retribution for committing evil deeds." They failed to hang me, so they cuffed me to the railings instead. At that moment, I sent out righteous thoughts to cuff me loosely, and they meekly obeyed. After they left, I slipped out of the handcuffs with no difficulty at all. I jumped from the second floor barefoot and fell right into a pile of sand. After that, I went home safely.

Through this experience, I understood that all kinds of evil people are only paper tigers in front of Dafa particles, and I deeply understood that all of our capabilities come from Dafa. As long as we follow Teacher's words, we can overcome any tribulation.
