(Clearwisdom.net) Little Falun Dafa practitioner Xiangxiang (pseudonym to protect her identity) is a 6^th grade student. Since the government's illegal ban and persecution against Falun Dafa began in July 1999, Xiangxiang's mother has gone to appeal in Beijing many times. She once walked eighteen days to get to Beijing and has been illegally arrested six times. One time when little Xiangxiang wanted to go with her mother to Beijing to defend Falun Dafa, her mother was being unlawfully held in a Detention Center so Xiangxiang went to Beijing alone. She was arrested in Tiananmen Square while practicing the Falun Dafa exercises. She was sent back to her school where the authorities threatened her with expulsion, but she refused to compromise. The school had no choice but to let her continue her studies.

After her mother was released and returned home, little Xiangxiang has been assisting her mother in a lot of work clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa to the public. One time when several other practitioners were visiting their home to collect Falun Dafa materials, about forty or fifty police surrounded the home in response to a tip. When the police came to the door, Xiangxiang's mother was helping other practitioners escape while Xiangxiang was running up to the second floor to protect the Falun Dafa materials. The police broke in and chased her to the second floor. She resolutely jumped from the second floor with 1,400 Falun Dafa brochures in her arms. The police caught her, beat her up, and tried to grab the materials from her arms, but little Xiangxiang refused to let go with all her might.

Mother and daughter were both caught and detained in a local police substation. Her mother was very firm so that the police could not obtain the least bit of information from her. The police then thought that little Xiangxiang would be the key to getting what they wanted. They asked her in a threatening tone whether she was afraid. Xiangxiang answered, "The textbooks say that the police serve the people, so why should I be afraid?" The police were dumbfounded.

In an attempt to force little Xiangxiang to speak, the vicious police pulled her hair and punched and kicked her violently, even smashing her in the mouth. But little Xiangxiang was as steadfast as her mother and held righteous thoughts in her mind. Under no circumstances would she give in to the police. Neither did she disclose even the slightest bit of information regarding the source of the Falun Dafa materials. The police exhausted their tricks and had to discharge her. Her mother was released a month later. Both of them have resumed their efforts in the mighty torrent of Fa rectification.
