By the wife of a former practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) My husband obtained the Fa in 1997. Before that, he had fourteen different diseases, including serious gastric ulcer, heart disease, hypertension, hepatitis, cholecystitis [a disease in the gall bladder] and he had also gone through a stroke. He would stay in the hospital for extended periods several times a year. He was so ill that he felt it would have been better if he were dead.

After practicing Falun Gong for half a year, one by one, all his diseases disappeared. He became a new person. He was practically glowing with health. He was so happy that he told me, "Falun Gong is so amazing! How can I thank my Master enough?!" However, after July 20, 1999, when the government staged a violent persecution of Falun Dafa, police officers became frequent visitors of my husband. They forced him to write a "guarantee" statement to give up Falun Dafa. He became scared and did not dare to practice anymore.

Several months after he wrote the statement and stopped cultivation, all his diseases returned. He took large doses of medicine and stayed in the hospital four times a year. He also had major surgery. But doctors couldn't save his life. Before he died, my husband told me, "I made a huge mistake. Now I am paying for it with my life. I am so sorry but it's too late. I had attained this wonderful Dafa, but I abandoned it." He said tearfully, "After I die, you must promote Dafa on my behalf. Especially, you should tell my story to those who want to practice but did not dare to practice with dignity. Don't repeat my mistake. Go ahead, practice and cultivate. Once you have obtained Dafa, do not ever lose it again."
