"Clarify the truth thoroughly, eliminate the evil with righteous thoughts, save all beings, and safeguard the Fa with determination" (Dafa is Indestructible) Swiss Dafa Practitioners Spread and Rectify the Fa while Clarifying the Truth in Czechoslovakia
(Clearwisdom.net) During the holidays, from July 28 to August 1, Swiss
Dafa practitioners went to Turkey, San Marino, Liechtenstein and other
countries. They then continued their journey of spreading the Fa and clarifying
the truth by visiting Czechoslovakia, an Eastern European country.
In order to make the best use of this opportunity to spread the Fa, a
practitioner had traveled there prior to the trip in order to make some
arrangements. He also worked with a Czechoslovakian printing company in order to
print more than 50,000 copies of colored German Dafa materials in advance.
On the afternoon of July 27, a number of Swiss Dafa practitioners left in
their cars on their way way to Czechoslovakia. At 3 AM on July 28, after more
than 10 hours of driving, they finally arrived. They began to practice the
exercises in the park at 8:00am after a brief break. Due to not having enough
time to apply for visas in order to be able to cross the border, other
practitioners changed their travel plans and directly flew to Czechoslovakia.
From the airport, they immediately went to the park to practice the exercises
and to spread the Fa. The schedule for these three days was very tight. We
practiced the exercises and spread the Fa from 8am to 5pm everyday in the park
and the downtown area, even during lunchtime. The posters and materials played
very good roles. Many tourists stopped to read them, ask us for materials and to
raise questions. After understanding the truth, they had very good impressions
of Falun Dafa, and supported Falun Dafa. Some tourists immediately expressed
their desire to practice Dafa. Eleven of them registered for the Fa introduction
class conducted for new practitioners.
Many people read the posters and looked at the pictures. They were extremely
surprised and couldn't comprehend the fact that 258 people had lost their lives
while in the custody of Jiang Zemin's regime, simply because of their belief in
Dafa. We also met several overseas Chinese, who had heard about the persecution
of Falun Dafa in China. They were indignant and told us that "there are no
human rights in China now." They also expressed their sympathy and support
for Dafa practitioners.
During these three days, we went to the Chinese Embassy in Czechoslovakia
each night at 7:30pm to do the exercises and to send forth righteous thoughts.
We displayed the Chinese character dian [Note: Chinese character
representing "mourning" in memory of those who have passed away]
which was hand made by some Swiss Dafa practitioners in order to remember those
fellow practitioners who have lost their lives in China. We also put up large
posters that said, "Falun Dafa" and "Truthfulness, Benevolence,
Forbearance." In addition, the Czechoslovakia National Television Broadcast
Station and three other major newspapers came to interview us in front of the
Chinese Embassy. That very evening, the Czechoslovakian National Television
Broadcast Station reported the news to the nation.
The Chinese embassy's iron-gate was usually open. However, they immediately
closed it after we arrived. We did the exercises and sent forth righteous
thoughts in a dignified and noble manner, but the embassy staff appeared to feel
uneasy. They were afraid of being video taped or having their picture taken, so
they hid inside and just peeped out at us.
All the practitioners that participated in this activity firmly kept Master's
words in mind, and took it upon themselves to spread and rectify the Fa, and to
take part in the activity whole-heartedly. While overcoming numerous
difficulties, a young Swiss couple with two young children, drove more than
1,000 kilometers [about 625 miles] in order to join us in spreading the
Fa and clarifying the truth. In Czechoslovakia, we started spreading the Fa at
8:00am every morning and continued until it was time to go to practice the
exercises and send forth righteous thoughts in front of the Chinese Embassy. We
ate fast food, and almost didn't have time to have any breaks during the day,
even at lunchtime. After more than 10 hours of driving, the practitioners were
very tired. However, they became fully invigorated as soon as they found out
where our Fa spreading activities would take place. It was a very moving scene.
The local Czechoslovakian practitioners did a lot of work in order to support
this Fa-spreading activity. They printed the Dafa materials in Czechoslovakian
and contacted the media in advance.
Through this event, we realized that Dafa belongs to the entire world. Dafa
practitioners in this world are one body. We felt that we were closer to the
Czechoslovakian practitioners than to our own family members, as soon as we met.
Although there was a language barrier between us, we worked harmoniously
together in order to reach the same grand goal -- to spread the Fa, clarify the
truth, and expose the evil. This activity was a complete success!
