On the morning of August 20, 2001, practitioner Zhou Qiaoyu from Austin came to the Chinese Consulate General in Houston to start her hunger strike to support 130 practitioners who are on hunger strike in the Mashanjia Labor Camp. At noontime, Zhou Qiaoyu read her statement in front of the Chinese Consulate.
