(Clearwisdom.net) On February 7, 2001 (Chinese lunar calendar January 15), practitioners Zhang Yufeng and Lu Yan from Changchun City were kidnapped by the police for distributing materials to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa. However, detailed information and names of the vicious policemen were not recorded due to the difficulty sending messages. Recently, practitioners have overcome difficulties and hardships and finally recorded the names and detailed facts. We hereby make it public as follows.

I was arrested on February 7 and detained on the 4th floor with the First Department of Criminal Police, Changchun Police Department. Wearing only thin cotton clothes, I was forced to sit on an iron chair while they poured cold water from my head to my feet with all the doors and windows open. [It was the coldest time of the year. The average temperature in Changchun is 20 to 30 degrees centigrade below zero, i.e. 4 to 22 degrees Fahrenheit below zero.] Then they handcuffed me from behind, pulled my hands forward over the top of the head and repeated this many times. They shocked me with electric batons, then put metal bullets between my fingers and squeezed them together tightly, causing my fingers to become bloody and mangled. The skin and blood mixed together and could not be distinguished. They nearly suffocated me by covering my head with a bag while punching me in the chest many times. They also punched me in the face and mouth countless times.
At about 10am the next day, four or five policemen lashed my head with a leather belt. Each of them took turns beating me at least 2 or 3 times. Afterward my body was covered with blood and my legs were so swollen that I could not wear my pants or even walk one step.
Around 3pm, a group of crazed policemen came back. They grabbed me by the throat, punched me in the face, and some even groped my breasts. They threatened to beat me to death. It would have been easier if they really had beaten me to death, rather than forcing me to suffer such horrific tortures.
The vicious authorities responsible were: Zhang Zhengzhen, Li Qingtao, Gao Ming, Liu Nianbin, Pan XX (given name unknown, he was called Xiao(little) Pan), Gao Junfeng, Liang Chunli and Chief Li XX (given name unknown). While trying to force a confession by torture, they continuously verbally abused me and beat me at will. They ordered me to get up from the iron chair, but since I had been sitting on it for two days, I could not move. Zhang Zhengzhen sat on the table and fiercely stamped his leather boots on my wounded legs that had been whipped with leather belts. Laughing and cursing while he kicked my legs, they had no concern for my pain. When they arrested me, they confiscated 15,000 Yuan [about US$1,807], 1 cell phone, 4 pagers, 1 cell phone battery, 1 charger, 5 cell phone cards, my purse, identity card and other daily necessities.
Practitioner Lu Yan had 13,600 Yuan [about US$1,639] with him but they only recorded 1,700 Yuan [about US$205]. They also took away his cell phone, pager and others belongings. The police station insisted on not recording my actual cash balance, and claimed that they only confiscated 10,000 Yuan [about US$1,204]. Later, due to my constant inquiring, they returned 4,200 Yuan [about US$506] and 1 cell phone. They asked me to sign to confirm, but I refused. Policemen Liang Chunli and Gao Ming took me back to the detention center, the people there noticed the wounds on my face and my difficulty walking. When they asked me what had happened, Gao Ming claimed that I had accidentally fallen down.
When I entered room number 62 in the detention center, all the people in the room burst into tears. My legs were black and wounds covered my face and hands. I could not eat anything. One week later, the guard illegally interrogated me. She saw all my wounds and recorded them. Within a month, I became weaker and weaker and suffered severe heart pain. I was rescued from heart failure by breathing oxygen and had to breathe oxygen 6 times a week. I was very healthy and never had heart problems before I came here. All this was caused by their brutal tortures.
