Photo Report: Texas Practitioner Enters Fifth Day of Hunger Strike


Today is the fifth day of Texas practitioner Qiaoyu Zhou's hunger strike in front of the Chinese Consulate. In the past five days, although having not eaten anything, she still looked strong and healthy. At noon, she read a statement reiterating her purpose of the hunger strike and expressed gratitude to those who extended help. She conducted interviews with local TV stations.

Tennessee practitioners Yanxia Li and Lihong Xu, after more than 10 hours of driving from Memphis, arrived at the Houston Chinese Consulate at 3:00am and started a hunger strike immediately. They plan to hold the hunger strike until Saturday night and go back to Memphis. More practitioners are coming from different places in Texas and other states to participate in the weekend hunger strike.
