Photo Report: 21 Melbourne Practitioners Hold Hunger Strike with No Food or Water for 48 Hours - In Support of the Chinese Practitioners Whose Lives are in Danger At 9:30am on August 24, six Melbourne practitioners began a 48-hour hunger strike without water or food at the Chinese Consulate in Melbourne. At 6:00pm, eight practitioners who just got off work joined the hunger strike (40 hours). Meanwhile, seven other practitioners also participated in the hunger strike (although they were not able to stay the entire time outside the Chinese Consulate because of Hongfa activities and work). Several dozen other practitioners, some during the day, some at night, also came to participate in the sit-in to show their support.
