[Northwest China] Dafa Practitioners Hold an Experience Sharing Meeting to
Commemorate the Two-Year Anniversary of "July 20th"
In northwest China, some Dafa practitioners from a city held an experience
sharing meeting to commemorate the two-year anniversary of "July 20th."
In this special meeting, practitioners focused on how to improve further within
the Fa, how to maintain a pure heart when sending forth righteous thoughts and
how to exert the power of righteous thoughts. They also focused on how to help
practitioners who have fallen behind and how to offer salvation to sentient
beings. The meeting also discussed the relationship between Fa-rectification and
personal cultivation, and the difference between having a fear mentality and
applying wisdom when doing things. After the meeting, most practitioners felt
their xinxing (heart or mind nature) had been upgraded
collectively.
[Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Dafa Practitioners in Jiangxia District of Wuhan
City Resist Vicious Forces with Righteous Thoughts
Around 11pm on July 20, 2001, over 10 policemen from the Jiangxia District
Police Office broke into Dafa practitioner Wang Xia's home and ransacked it.
Wang Xiao spoke loudly, "Kind-hearted people, please come and see how
police persecute Falun Gong practitioners. Good is rewarded with good, evil is
met with evil!" The neighbors followed her voice and came to her home. The
policemen were frightened and pleaded with her, "Lower your voice." A
vicious policeman screamed at her, "I'll let you wait and see how I get the
retribution!" The practitioner then sent forth the righteous thought,
"The Fa rectifies Heaven and Earth, immediate retribution in this
lifetime." When the policemen went downstairs, their flashlight suddenly
went off. The policeman who screamed at her sprained his ankle. This frightened
the policemen. No one dared to talk. Someone who witnessed the incident from
outside the door said, "Falun Dafa is good." In the end, the
discouraged policemen left.
[Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Betrayer who
"Enlightened" Along an Evil Path Suffers Stroke after Verbally Abusing
Dafa
Many practitioners are illegally detained in the brainwashing class held in
the Haizhu District Welfare Institute of Guangzhou City. Because these Dafa
practitioners are very determined to practice Dafa, the vicious officials
invited a betrayer, Zhang Anmei, who had "enlightened" along an evil
path, to help them brainwash the practitioners. But they failed again. Finally,
she tore off her hypocritical mask and shouted and threatened the Dafa
practitioners. Soon afterwards, she suffered a stroke and fell to the ground.
Her four limbs were shivering. She was then hospitalized.
The retribution that the vicious accomplice Zhang Anmei received strongly
suppressed the vicious people. Now the other accomplices are scared and only
"work" passively.
[Beijing] No One Attends the Slanderous Exhibition Held in the Military
Museum
I am an employee at an institute in Beijing. At 9am this morning, our
institute bought the tickets and organized all employees at work to go see the
exhibition slandering Falun Gong held in the Military Museum. Up until 10am, no
one wanted to go. They all refused, giving various reasons not to go. In the
end, only 2 leaders and a driver went to the exhibition.
However, on the TV news broadcast that evening, it claimed, "Tickets for
the next several days have been sold out. Many people have bought the tickets
themselves to see the exhibition." The news showed the old face of He
Zuoxiu, an "academician" with no research achievements who only
pursued political interests, and merely some deceived students. It seemed that
the TV news program gave the opposite information of what really happened.
[Baicheng City, Jilin Province] Dafa Practitioner Has to Leave Home Before
his Wedding Ceremony
Recently, following the orders of human rights scoundrel Jiang Zemin, some
vicious policemen went to harass Dafa practitioners in their homes many times.
Now some practitioners have had to leave their homes and become homeless.
Twenty-six years old male practitioner Chen Weizhe, an employee in the Baicheng
City Telecommunications Company, had planned to get married on July 28, 2001.
However, the vicious police from Baicheng City Haiming Police Office harassed
him and his family in his home many times. On July 23, 2001, the local police
and several ruffians tried to take him to a police station in order to force him
to give up his practice of Falun Dafa. He firmly refused. He had to leave home
afterwards, becoming a homeless person before his wedding ceremony.
We hereby hope that all kind-hearted people recognize the vicious nature of
human rights scoundrel Jiang Zemin and help those Dafa practitioners being
persecuted.
[Shanghai] Shanghai City Library Illegally Holds a Dafa-Slandering Exhibition
Between July 27 and August 8, 2001, Shanghai City Library is holding a
large-scale exhibition with a lot of materials defaming Falun Dafa. Hopefully,
all Dafa disciples can send out their righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil
and to save people.
[Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Cangzhou City Police Kidnap Falun Dafa
Practitioner Yang Quanli
On the afternoon of July 29, 2001, about six policemen from the Shuiyuesi
Police Station in Cangzhou City of Hebei Province went to Falun Dafa
practitioner Yang Quanli's home. They handcuffed and forced him into a police
car. One policeman choked Yang's neck and would not allow him to talk.
[Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Baimiao Labor Camp Causes Human Tragedy: A
Two-Year-Old Child Can No Longer Recognize His Own Father
Many Falun Dafa practitioners detained in the Baimiao Labor Camp in Zhengzhou
City were denied their legal right of their monthly meeting with their families,
because they still firmly practiced Falun Dafa. For 4 months already, one
60-year-old practitioner was not allowed to see her husband who was detained
there. Another illegally detained practitioner has a 21-month-old child but the
Camp still did not permit his child to see him. Another practitioner has been
detained for 6 months already and his 2-year-old child can no longer recognize
him. One other practitioner has been detained since his child was only 5 months
old. These kids are all in need of their father's care. However, policemen in
the Camp told practitioners' families, "Let them [practitioners] write a
guarantee statement to give up practicing Falun Gong and tell lies, and then
they can be released." They also said, "If you practice the exercises
at home, nobody will know. Telling the truth is not popular nowadays. If you
tell the truth, you will never be able to do anything." This is today's
China, which is called "The best period of human rights in Chinese
history" by Jiang Zemin.
According to some information, Baimiao Labor Camp has now detained about 40
male Dafa practitioners. Most of them are still firmly practicing Falun Dafa.
Vicious brainwashing could never change Dafa disciples' steadfast faith in Falun
Dafa.
[Qingdao City, Shangdong Province] Police Kidnap Seven to Eight Dafa
Practitioners in Jimo County; It is Uncertain Whether They are Dead or Alive
Jimo County Police illegally captured 7 to 8 Dafa practitioners including Li
Deming from Jimo County, Qingdao City. Among them was Dafa practitioner Jiang
Jing from Chengyang County, Qingdao City, who was once illegally held and
tortured at a mental hospital. Her case was reported on Clearwisdom.net. It is
uncertain whether these practitioners are dead or alive. Please pay attention to
this matter.
[Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Gangsters who Stand Against "Truthfulness,
Compassion, Forbearance" in Dongxihu District of Wuhan City are very
Panic-Stricken
On July 8, 2001, the "610" office [an office specializing in
persecuting Falun Gong practitioners; 6.10 refers to June 10th, 1999,
when this office was set up] in Dongxihu District of Wuhan City transferred
3 Dafa practitioners being illegally held at a brainwashing class to another
location. The whole transfer process was carried out in a horrible atmosphere.
There were soldiers carrying loaded rifles and acting as if they were on guard
for all possible dangers.
On July 19, in order to prevent Dafa practitioners from posting banners, the authorities from Dongxihu District of Wuhan City assigned
a large number of forces to guard the district government compound for a whole
night. This has shown that the vicious gangsters are panic-stricken.
According to an insider, the lawless officials of Dongxihu District have
already spent more than a million Yuan to persecute Falun Gong. The proportion
of so-called brainwashing class "assistants" and Dafa practitioners
sometimes reached 4:1. Those people are paid everyday with an extra 20-yuan
allowance in addition to a 20-30 yuan subsidy. At present, there are lots of
unemployed workers and peasants who have lost their jobs; the lands lie wasted,
and school age children cannot afford to go to school in Dongxihu District. Why
didn't the government spend the money on helping the poor instead of persecuting
kind-hearted Dafa practitioners? What exactly are they doing?
[Hua County, Shannxi Province] Young Daughter Stays Home
Alone Without Care After Parents Were Illegally Sentenced to Forced Labor
On January 1, 2001, the "610" office in Hua County inhumanely
persecuted Dafa practitioners. The practitioner couple was from the Fertilizer
Factory. The husband, Li Haijun, was a security personnel in the police section
of the Fertilizer Factory. On March 1, Jiang Zemin's gangsters again unlawfully
held a brainwashing class attempting to force the couple to give up their
beliefs. The couple was illegally held in the hostel of their working unit and
lost their freedom. Their only young daughter was left alone at home.
With the escalation of the persecution conducted by the "610"
office, the couple was transferred to Hua County Detention Center. They were
unlawfully sentenced to 2 years of forced labor just because they refused to say
something against their will. At present, the husband is being illegally held at
Zaozihe Labor Camp in Fengxiang County, Shannxi Province and the wife is being
illegally held at Xi'an Women's Labor Camp.
[Shandong Province] Police Kidnap Shandong Dafa Practitioner Dai Xiaoping
Shandong Dafa practitioner Dai Xiaoping was arrested, and his home was
searched. Fellow Dafa practitioners, please send forth righteous thoughts to
rescue Dai Xiaoping.
