We Cannot Ignore the People Around Us When Clarifying the Truth

(Clearwisdom.net) "Clarify the truth thoroughly, eliminate the evil with righteous thoughts, save all beings, and safeguard the Fa with determination, because you are a part of Dafa, indestructible;" (Dafa is Indestructible).

At present, when we thoroughly clarify the truth, we not only need to distribute materials about the truth of Falun Dafa, but we should also take the initiative to actively clarify the truth and expose the evil to our family, friends, and neighbors--when we rectify our own environment we can better play the role of a Dafa particle.

When some practitioners in Mainland China face arrest while handing out truth materials, they have very righteous states of mind and they can treat any conflict or interference with righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil forces. These practitioners, however, don't understand well enough the importance of clarifying the truth to their families and neighbors, thus causing them to have some barriers.

Hindered by attachments such as saving face, laziness, fear, etc., they fail to recognize the evil forces behind the situation. Furthermore, the relationship with their family and neighbors had become very tense. Some practitioners are afraid of affecting their family relationship and, in turn, compromise or cater to the wrong actions of their family members; they aren't even able to study the Fa or practice the exercises normally. In the article, To All Students at the Nordic Fa Conference, Master Li says, "Every person you come into contact with in society is someone to clarify the truth to, and what's manifest in clarifying the truth is Dafa disciples' mercy and salvation of the people of the world." Therefore, when we clarify the truth to the people of the world, the people around us should also be included.

The practitioners in my neighborhood have insisted on practicing and studying the Fa as a group, so their environment is very good. Before, however, their environment was not as such and the interference came mainly from their neighbors, who hampered their efforts to clarify the truth. But through discussion and study, the practitioners understood that if their own environment was not rectified, they would be unable to thoroughly clarify the truth. Then how could the evil's poisonous lies and deception be cleared from people's minds?

After that, the practitioners started to promote Dafa to their neighbors by showing them Dafa truth-materials, telling them what happened in local areas, or by telling their neighbors how Dafa practitioners have been brutally persecuted. Doing so removed their neighbor's misunderstanding towards Dafa. As a result, some neighbors wanted to help distribute truth materials and join the Fa-rectification. The environment has been rectified as a result. Now when the practitioners have group study, their neighbors keep watch for them and create a good environment for their study and practice.

Master Li said in Dafa is Indestructible, "As a Dafa disciple, everything of yours is formed by Dafa and is the most righteous, and it can only be that [you] rectify everything that is not righteous." The fact that our environment is not good is created by our own selves. In addition, we don't have a deep understanding of the Fa and fail to realize its seriousness, which has also negatively affected our efforts to clarify the truth. Now, I've begun to understand that only when we rectify the environments around us can we better play the role of a Dafa particle--the cultivated part of us can then send forth stronger power.
