Zurich: Magnificent Feats - the "SOS Global RescueWalk"

(ClearWisdom.Net) The "SOS Global RescueWalk" is an opportunity, given by our benevolent Master, to provide a clear picture of Falun Dafa, to expose the evil, and to save sentient beings in the cosmos.

In "Lecture on the Fa at the Washington, D.C. International Conference," Teacher says, "Cherish the present time and make the best use of it--this time is meant for disciples. While you cultivate, do Fa-rectification, and move yourselves towards Consummation, you also need to save sentient beings; you are creating everything for the future." Yes, we are following the arrangement of Teacher, saving sentient beings while moving toward Consummation and creating everything for the future. I feel encouraged by those Fa disciples who are taking part in the "SOS Global RescueWalk." Although I did not take part in the rescue walk, my mind is replete with their magnificent feats. Teacher says, "In other words, one body doesn't necessarily do one thing. But no matter what you do, you need to be worthy of being called a Dafa disciple." On August 18^th, the Fa disciples in Zurich launched the rescuewalk, while the disciples from Bern, wearing the "SOS" T-shirts, saw them off, attended the media conference, held up the Falun Dafa banners, and displayed the Falun Dafa pictures.

Along the rescuewalk, Silvan, one of the disciples in Zurich, used his loudspeaker to tell us in three languages the aim of the rescuewalk--that is, to clarity the truth and to expose the evil. His voice reached as far as the sky, overriding the noise of city traffic. His voice, in expectation of people's awareness of truth, called for people's benevolence to support Falun Gong, to support its persecuted practitioners. His voice echoed the Falun Gong principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The passers-by on the streets, consumers in the shopping mall, the coffee shops, or at the food stands stopped to listen attentively to Silvan's speech. They paid attention to photo display pictures and accepted the distributed SOS materials. Some of them showed their empathy, the others waved their hands to us to express their honor, and still others held our hands tightly. A middle-aged lady said she had great empathy with our persecuted practitioners, and to express her support for Falun Gong, she walked in the "SOS Global RescueWalk" for the next two hours. Also, a reporter accompanied us, taking photos continuously; not until we were approaching the suburbs did he leave.

The disciples from Bern had walked with the disciples in Zurich for more than ten kilometers, unwilling to leave. The next day we first provided relief for the disciples from St.Gallen who had already walked for 218 kilometers and then for the disciples from Zurich and Basel. Seeing them, I was overwhelmed. Their feet were swollen and bleeding; some of them limped along, but still insisted on walking through the whole journey. Sometimes they just had one meal a day and sometimes they spent the night in makeshift shelters, but they did not give up. Keeping the persecuted practitioners of China in their minds and what Master has borne for all disciples, they stepped forward on their swollen and bleeding feet. Along their whole journey, they did the spreading of the Fa, providing a clear picture of Falun Dafa for the public and governments.

At every stop, regardless of their fatigue, they visited local officials and reporters. On the newspapers there were articles and photos about the "SOS Global RescueWalk;" from the radios flowed out the voices of disciples to spread Falun Dafa, to clarity the truth, and to expose the evil. (The radio station had agreed to let our disciples deliver a seven-minute impromptu speech.) On TV there were reports about Falun Gong activities. The chiefs from all departments gave the disciples a warm reception. Touched by the deeds of the disciples, some of the chiefs proposed to circulate the Dafa and "SOS" materials around their departments. The others sent souvenirs to the disciples. And still the other chiefs attached the "SOS" labels to their cars and buses; and mayors invited the disciples to lunch. Through spreading of the Fa, clarification of the truth, and exposure of the evil, some of them who originally had a distorted perception of Falun Gong came to realize the truth of Falun Gong. Wherever the disciples passed by, the locals delivered fruit and drinks, the drivers sounded their horns to express their support, some signaling support by making a peace or victory sign, and some yelled out their support and good wishes for Falun Gong. All of these came from the great compassion given by our Master; we were saving beings with compassion.

In "Fa-Rectification Period Dafa Disciples," Teacher says, "This period of time will not last long, but it can forge the mighty virtue of magnificent Enlightened Beings, Buddhas, Daos, and Gods of different levels." I deeply perceive that Master makes use of every opportunity to forge the mighty virtue of the disciples, to raise them up to a higher level, and to forge magnificent Enlightened Beings, Buddhas, Daos, and Gods of different levels out of the disciples. I greatly sense that we disciples are always under Master's greatest mercy and infinite grace. It is never easy to return Master's greatest mercy and infinite grace. All that we can do is keep Master's words in mind, pass every test arranged by Master, and step forward for further advancement.
