On September 9, 2001, the biggest newspaper in Northern France, La Voixdu Nord, published a photo and an article: A peaceful walk from London to Brussels -- Four Falun Gong practitioners arrive in Dunkerque to expose the persecution in China.
The article reported that the purpose of the walk is to urge the end of the persecution and torture of Falun Gong practitioners in China.
