By a Dafa Practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa practitioner Pang Fengqin is a resident in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. Before she was finally released and sent home because of her medical condition, she had endured 10 months of torture at the Shijiazhuang Labour Camp. However, she continued to endure harassment even after her release.

On May 6, 2001, Hedong Police Station joined forces with Shijiazhuang Labour Camp to break into Pang's home. They beat up her daughter and son, who are both non-practitioners. (This incident was previously reported on Clearwisdom.net).

Around 6:00 A.M. on August 15, 2001, Pang Fengqin's entire family was awakened from sleep by loud knocking on the door. It was the police from the Ershilipu Police Station in Yuhua District, Shijiazhuang City. Pang and her family refused to open the door. Later, at around 10:00 AM, the police forced open the security gate of Pang's residence, claiming they had a search warrant. They searched everywhere for Dafa materials to photograph. When asked why they behaved in such a manner, they answered, "That's what public security does. It does not matter if you witnessed it; what can you do?!"

When they finished searching, they forcibly took Pang away and confiscated her video and audio recorders. At present, Pang Fengqin is on hunger strike, protesting this illegal detention and refusing to cooperate with the orders and demands of the evil forces. Ershilipu police have not allowed her family to visit. The situation inside is serious and there are concerns about further persecution of practitioners.

In addition, on August 17, Dafa practitioner Zhou Jingtao was also illegally kidnapped and his house was ransacked by Ershilipu police.
