Falun Dafa Press Conference in Slovenia

We, two practitioners from Austria and one from Switzerland, organized a media conference in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa and the persecution in China. It was not hard to find a hotel which also offered a conference room, so we rented this room for two hours and invited all media we found on the internet.

In the evening before the conference, we started to prepare the room so that everything would be ready and fine for the next morning. While we were putting the Falun Dafa banner on the wall, a worker stepped with his dirty shoes into the room to see what we were doing. After we saw that the carpet was full of dirt, we asked him if he could clean it. He suddenly got angry and started to yell and to clean the carpet in a crazy way. Than he saw our banner and read the three principles: truthfulness, compassion and forbearance in his own language. In this moment his behavior changed completely. He smiled and asked for our names and shook our hands. One more time we realized the power of Dafa.

After we prepared everything in the room, we went to bed with the good feeling that everything was ready. On the next morning we went to the room half an hour before the beginning of the conference. We couldn't believe our eyes when we entered the room. All tables were full of shoes, shoes were all around! The lady who booked the room thought that the conference was planed for the afternoon and so she gave this room to a shoe seller for the morning. But she found another room for us and with her help we managed to prepare the room before the first journalist came.

The conference itself was very good. Slovenian media showed great interest and many journalists from different daily newspapers and magazines came, as well as TV Slovenia. The atmosphere during the conference was very friendly and at the end, they wanted to see the exercises and enjoyed them a lot. One of the journalists asked for the book "Falun Gong" and took it with her. In the afternoon we handed out flyers. They were handed out so quickly that we found that the citizens of Ljubljana are very open-minded and friendly. At the evening we checked out to drive to Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. The lady from the hotel, who helped us with the conference room didn't want to take any money for our sleeping room and wished us good luck and big success in Zagreb.

During our trip we used every opportunity to hand out flyers to the people around us. For example, we handed a flyer to a man charging the railway tax. He heard about Falun Dafa before and was very happy to receive a flyer and said he doesn't understand why China is still persecuting Falun Gong and also wished us good luck.
