The Power of Righteous Thoughts

[Clearwisdom.net] This incident, involving the effect of righteous thoughts, happened before the publication of Teacher's article "Dafa Disciples' Righteous Thoughts are Powerful":

One evening, a fellow practitioner was quietly studying the Fa at home. Because the door was ajar, two policemen snuck in, and stealthily took two articles that were on the table. The practitioner was deep in concentration reading an article. When the police suddenly snatched the article from his hands, he was very surprised. He realized that the police had come in, but he was not frightened. He stood up and in a dignified manner said, "The articles are mine, what right do you have to take them from me?" While saying this, he took back the two articles. This frightened the policemen, leaving them speechless. In fact, everyday people's thoughts are extremely weak, and they simply do not know practitioners' minds. There was still one article in the policeman's hands! This practitioner again tried to take this final article back, but regrettably only got hold of a small part of it. Meanwhile, another two practitioners arrived at his home.

The policeman holding the article stated in a threatening manner, "You will have to go with me to the local police station." The practitioner, still not afraid, gently said to the policeman, "The local police station is a place to imprison unprincipled people. We Dafa practitioners are good people. Think about it for yourself. How can we good people go to that place?"

Since they had lost the evidence now that it was no longer in their hands and their request was turned down, the policeman became angry and threatened to confiscate the practitioner's property, saying, "How much other material is there in your home? I will immediately apply for a search warrant and confiscate your property." The practitioner confidently said, "We practitioners have pure hearts. There is nothing for you to confiscate in my home," He directly faced the evil policeman with righteous thoughts.

The policeman tried to communicate with his cell phone, but no matter how hard he tried, he could not make the call. Out of helplessness, the policeman again threatened him by saying, "I'll handcuff you!" While saying this, he reached for the handcuffs on his waist. The practitioner again said, "We have not committed any crime. By what right can you handcuff us? Don't you allow people to have freedom of belief? The People's Police are supposed to protect people, not to help a tyrant commit evil!"

The policeman again threatened, "I will handcuff you all and take you away!" One practitioner said, "If you want to take us to the local police station, you should first return the article to me, and let me read it once before we talk further." The policeman did not comply.

"If you really want to take us to the local police station, we will shout loudly on the way that Falun Dafa is good! Evil does not prevail over righteousness! Let's see how you will handle that!" The policeman touched the handcuffs again. He really wanted to handcuff them. The Dafa practitioner said, "Do not move carelessly! You must be courteous and abide by the law!" These words had a big impact. As soon as the words were spoken, the policemen stood, as if they were frozen, and did not take any further action.

Afterwards the practitioners asked them to sit down, prepared some tea for them, promoted the Fa and clarified the truth to them. The policemen seemed to have listened to them because they didn't say anything again until they left.

This instance sufficiently demonstrates the might of Dafa and the strength of righteous thoughts!
