Falun Dafa Practitioner in Hawaii

Falun Dafa Practitioners in Hawaii are going on an SOS walk around the Island of Oahu in an urgent effort to draw attention to the brutal persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners in China. We will hold a press conference at 5:00 P.M. on Friday, October 5, 2001, in Honolulu, Hawaii to kick off our walk. Honolulu Practitioners will join the "SOS! Global RescueWalk," as groups in countries everywhere are walking around the world for this just and urgent cause. It is a milestone in Falun Dafa's journey of spreading truth, benevolence and peace.

Falun Dafa practitioners and kind-hearted supporters from such countries as Japan, Singapore, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, many cities in the USA, the Czech and Slovak Republics, Ireland, the Netherlands, Japan, Denmark, Hong Kong, UK, Germany, and many more will participate in this walk around the world. We want people around the planet to know how China's president Jiang Zemin and his associates ruthlessly persecute Falun Gong practitioners just because they refuse to give up their belief in "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance," and just because they simply want to practice Falun Gong peacefully. At the same time, we will introduce Falun Dafa and its profound teachings of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance to the many people we meet on our walk around the world. We practitioners all have a powerful purpose with every step that we take: to tell the people of the world that Falun Dafa is good. Persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners is against human rights and against the laws of the universe. We here in Hawaii will stop at all of the main shopping malls-- Kahala, Leeward, Pearl City, Ward Warehouse, and Ala Moana-- and in all of the towns on our walk to tell people about Falun Dafa. The participating practitioners come from all walks of life. Representing many nationalities and people of all ages, they are of one heart.
