Photo Report: Practitioners from Australia Participate in a Sporting Event Organized by Taiwanese Associations

On September 22 and 23, at the invitation of the Organizing Committee, Australian practitioners from Queensland participated in an overseas Chinese gathering: a once-a-year sporting event in Brisbane organized by the Taiwanese association. More than 14 Chinese associations with over 700 participants joined in this sporting event.

Practitioners took the opportunity to clarify the truth to overseas Chinese people. A banner reading: "Falun Dafa Free Teaching" was displayed around the sports field. The trees were decorated with Zhen-Shan-Ren balloons. A Falun Dafa booth displayed Dafa books in different languages as well as different kinds of materials. The hallway had become the Falun Dafa picture exhibition. The magnificent scene of group practices in cities across China before the brutal crackdown, the world-wide spreading of Falun Dafa, as well as the numerous proclamations received from the government around the world had drawn the participants attention and got them thinking. During the two days' events, practitioners were invited to do a half-hour demonstration of the excises three times.

Practitioners also participated in the different competitions and won some medals.

One of the practitioners was bed-ridden due to various diseases before practicing Falun Gong. Now he could compete in a sporting event and win medals. This is one example of Dafa's mighty power.

Throughout the two-days of events, many people got a chance to know more about the truth of Falun Dafa and showed interest in learning.
