"Falun Dafa Is The Future," Say The People of Croatia

We arrived in Zagreb in the middle of the night and one of us asked a friend of his for accommodations. The friend was very gracious and offered a place for all three of us (one of us was from Switzerland and the two others were from Austria).

The next morning we wanted to hold a media conference at a hotel in the center of the city. It was the day after the big crash of the aircrafts in New York and Washington and we were not sure if we should hold this conference or not, but we decided to hold it anyway. We waited a whole hour but no journalists came, so we discussed what we should do. We decided to do what we came for, and use other ways to inform the people of Croatia about the truth of Falun Dafa.

In the early afternoon, we went to one of the political parties because a woman who specializes in human rights issues for this party is also the head of the Croatian branch of IGFM (a human rights organization that supports us in Austria). Two practitioners had a very long conversation with this lady and she promised that she would help us by talking to the leadership and other party members to get support for Falun Gong. During that time, I handed out flyers and I had a very positive experience. I gave a flyer to a young man. After a short time he came back and wanted to hear more about Falun Dafa and then, when I finished talking he said to me that he thinks that Falun Dafa will be the future and that this persecution in China is a big test for us. Also some Chinese people came and I gave them some Chinese newspapers about Falun Dafa. They took them and went into the building of the political party where my friends were clarifying the truth.

In the evening it was still bright and we did the exercises in a nice park in the old town of Zagreb. While we did the exercises, our host handed out flyers to the people passing by. We had a lot of conversations with him and he said the same thing as the young man, that Falun Dafa will be the future. He said this without knowing that he had said the same thing as the young man.

The next day we went to the foreign ministry, to the Prime Minister's office, and to one of the President's advisors. We gave all of them informative materials and also had some good conversations. The President's advisor was also very interested in Falun Gong and said that she would inform the president too. We also had a very good conversation at the Austrian embassy, where we spoke to the Austrian consul in person. He said that he would give this information to the whole Austrian delegation in Croatia (more than 100 people).

Before leaving Zagreb and driving to Sarajevo, we met a friend of someone in the group who lives in Zagreb. When she heard our experiences, she helped us to inform even more people. She said that she knew someone at the local radio station and also the owner of a bookstore. She said, "Why don't we go there right now." So we informed all of them and later, the owner of the bookstore, who was also a publisher, called and said he would like to publish Falun Dafa books in Croatia.
