Hebei Gaoyang Labor Camp Tortures Falun Gong Practitioners

(Clearwisdom.net) Gaoyang Labor Camp in Hebei Province has been strictly following the government's policy of persecution. This year, their persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners has been as bad as that at the notorious Masanjia Labor Camp and the Xin'an Female Labor Camp. It has become the so-called "pioneer" of the country. About half of the prison guards in Gaoyang Labor Camp do not have uniforms or ID numbers. They are temporary contracted employees at the camp. There are over one hundred of them.

In Gaoyang Labor Camp, most detainees work twelve hours a day alternating between day and night shifts weekly. Some of the tasks are hazardous but detainees are not provided with any protective gear. Under burden of heavy labor, they are not given a balanced diet (only a starch-based diet). The soup they drink is really water condensed after steam cooking. The oil they use for cooking has a strange bad taste. Due to long-term treatment like this, detainees are all very weak. They are lacking nutrition and minerals like calcium.

Gaoyang Labor Camp has illegally detained about 300 Falun Dafa practitioners. After practitioner Chen Guoxian told the captain that people should not be beaten casually, he was brutally beaten by 3 staff members when he went to the bathroom. They kicked him and beat him with their fists and sticks. They broke the leg of a chair during the beating. They fractured one of Chen Guoxian's ribs. He is in such pain that he dares not to cough. It hurts him to breath. However, he still has to work the whole day without rest.

When torturing practitioners, the staff at Gaoyang Labor Camp chain practitioner's hands to the ground on both sides of their body. The practitioners have to squat down and lean forward with both arms extended fully to the sides and they are not allowed to move. No one is permitted to give them any food or water. They torture 3 to 5 people this way at a time. The practitioners have to suffer like this under the blazing sun, while being bitten by mosquitoes. They are not allowed to sleep and there are people on duty to watch them around the clock. Some practitioners are tortured like this for as long as 20 days. Their hands are all swollen and chafed due to excessive rubbing.

In Gaoyang Labor Camp, they always interrogate Falun Gong practitioners at night. They start with brutal beating and then shock them with electric batons connected to the charger. They put water on the floor and make the person stand in it. Then they use a few electric batons simultaneously to electrify the water until the person loses consciousness. They also use old-style telephones (the ones with a manual electric generator) to torture them. They attach electric wires to both thumbs of a practitioner and then crank the handle to generate electric shocks running through the whole body. At night, they make practitioners carry half a bag of dirt and line up outside and force them to scream out slogans and their ID number. They are not allowed to sleep until 1 or 2 am. They have to get up at 5 in the morning. The guards are even crueler to the practitioners on hunger strikes. They used feces water from the toilet to force-feed five of them, including practitioner Zhao Yuhuan. Afterwards, she had a fever of 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit). Her life was in danger and she was rushed to the hospital twice.

Former deputy director of Handan City Financial Department Liu Haiqin, a Falun Gong practitioner, allegedly was persecuted to death at Gaoyang Labor Camp. There is also information that she may still be alive but lying in a hospital bed like a vegetable.

Without any legal procedures, three local Falun Gong practitioners, one of whom was Chen Xinnian, were detained in the Gaoyang Labor Camp. Guards used violence to try to brainwash them. Chen Ji made a small mistake during his work and the captain furiously slapped him with his shoe and four or five staff members on duty beat him together. Ding Jianhua was one step late to his room. He was pulled back out of the room by the captain and punched a few times in the face. He immediately fell on the floor. The captain told him to get up so that he could hit him again, but he had already passed out with blood coming out of his mouth. His tooth was knocked loose and his lower lip was torn with a 1-inch wound. The inside of his mouth was all cut and bruised and his face and lips were swollen. He could not eat for days.

The above persecution incidents are only the tip of the iceberg, but from them we can see how cruel and vicious Gaoyang Labor Camp is. We seriously warn all the vicious people there who persecute Falun Dafa practitioners: "good will be rewarded with good and evil with evil." This is the law of the universe. If you still do not realize this and continue to do bad things, the universe will definitely judge you accordingly. At the same time, we also appeal to all the kind-hearted people in the world to help rescue Falun Gong practitioners being persecuted in China.
