Clearwisdom.net, will take necessary measures to prevent interference. [Beijing] Criminal Facts of Vicious Police in Tuanjiehu Police Station Vicious police officer Zhang Shidang of Tuanjiehu Police Station frequently
arrested practitioners. In brainwashing classes, he often struck the table and
cursed practitioners. He tortured unyielding practitioners by using methods such
as disallowing them to sleep. He even declared publicly, "The Party has
countless techniques [of torture]." Police Officer Fan Jinghu also tortured practitioners. During so-called
"sensitive days," he would go to practitioners' homes to beat and
arrest them. He was especially brutal in beating female practitioners. He beat
them all over with all his strength. Once, he went to a female practitioner's
home to arrest her. He grasped tightly the practitioner's neck, pushed her to
the balcony and said maliciously, "If I throw you off this balcony it will
be considered a suicide." He didn't even spare elderly women. He used to
pinch an elderly practitioner's fingers with a pair of pliers and told this
practitioner, "If you go to Tiananmen Square once more, I will destroy your
whole family." Guo Genliang, the director of "610 office" in Tuanjiehu District,
received quick promotions for his "contribution" in torturing
practitioners. When forcing practitioners to write a "rupture
statement," (which claims renouncement of Falun Gong practice) he
and other officers took turns coercing practitioners and forbade them to sleep.
They also persecuted practitioners economically. For numerous times, Sui Xin
from the office extorted a so-called "class fee" from practitioners.
The fee was at least 1,000 Yuan (about US $125, $60 is average monthly income
in China) and sometimes as high as 5,000 Yuan. They did not give
practitioners any receipts. Wang Jianxin and Fu Guilan are also accomplices in

Practitioners = Must Arrest Right Away A practitioner sells watermelons in the market. He always selects the best
ones for his customers. One day, a plainclothes police officer watched him for a
long time and suddenly asked, "You look so nice. Aren't you a Falun Gong
practitioner? I have observed you for 3 days already." This practitioner
admitted with a smile. All of sudden, this brawny man came up to him and grabbed
his wrist and said, "You must go with me if you practice Falun Gong. I will
put you in a labor camp." The crowd was shocked and perplexed. Is it that
goodness can't be tolerated in the world? [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Police Kidnap Dafa Practitioners Around 9 a.m. on August 9, 2001, practitioner Wang Chaohui was tailed by
several thugs (Dafa persecutors), and later was kidnapped and taken to
the city police department. His whereabouts are unknown. Around 8 a.m. on August 16, 2001, practitioner Feng Guiru went out to do
something with a fellow practitioner, and on the way both were kidnapped. Feng
was sent to No. 3 Custodial Center of Jilin City, and she is now on a hunger
strike to protest the illegal kidnapping and request an unconditional release.
The other practitioner's whereabouts are unclear. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Malicious Police Swindle Dafa Practitioners In July 2000, several practitioners from the Wenmiao Police Station's
prefecture traveled to Beijing to validate Dafa and were arrested. Later, they
were escorted back by three local policemen including Hou Chuanhui. Hou and
others went to the practitioners' workplaces and homes successively to extort
money. Ever since July 22, 1999, Hou went to practitioners' homes numerous times to
confiscate Dafa books, and forced the practitioners to write guarantee letters
renouncing Falun Dafa. He illegally monitored practitioners and even declared,
"I don't care if it's right or wrong, and I just listen to my superiors. My
mother-in-law practiced Falun Gong and her cerebral thrombus was healed. But if
the government gives the order, I'll shoot you all dead with a gun." [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Li Lanqing Plots Criminal Activities On August 21, Li Lanqing, the vice premier of China, went to Benxi City of
Liaoning Province to plot new schemes in the persecution of Dafa practitioners.
On August 28, the Benxi City Police Department held a secret meeting and decided
to take corporate actions among street and neighborhood communities to illegally
arrest practitioners. [Beijing] Jiang Zemin Regime Squanders Taxpayers' Hard-Earned Money to Build
a Labor Camp for Torturing Dafa Practitioners Right now, the Bejing Police Department is building a new labor camp solely
for the illegal detention of practitioners. It's actually an expansion of the
old Tiantanghe Labor Camp in Daxing County. It takes up over 100 acres of
land and can accommodate over 4,000 prisoners. This investment costs 6 million
RMB [about US $750,000] and will be ready for use this October. This
means Jiang Zemin's regime is obviously escalating its persecution against Falun

Station unlawfully took away Song Dahai (pseudonym) from in front of his

Dahai's wife and daughter (both practitioners) are wandering about because they
can't go back home. Song was detained in the Dongshan District Custodial Center
(located at 15 Shiguling, Shahe Tianpingjia, Guangzhou City) for nearly 50 days.
He was illegally sentenced to one and a half years in labor camp for not giving
up his belief in Falun Dafa. Right now he is detained at the Guangzhou City No.1
Labor Camp in Chini County, Huadu District. It is said that more than a dozen

Kidnapped At 7 a.m. on August 26, 2001, 53-year-old practitioner Zhang Heshan was
tricked into Changshan County High School and was illegally arrested. Zhang was
originally a teacher of this high school but was expelled for persisting in
practicing Falun Gong. At 4 a.m. on August 26 2001, Changshan Town's police illegally arrested Zhao

Dafa Practitioners Recently, Chongqing City's Yubei District police strengthened their forces,
and illegally arresting practitioners who are on their blacklist. Wen Zuming is a practitioner and a teacher. He was illegally arrested and
sentenced to 2 years in jail for distributing literature to clarify the truth

others. The police ransacked Yang Fengjun's house without a search warrant and
stole and made off with more than 7,000 Yuan (the equivalent of one year's
salary). They also confiscated his remote control player, microphone, portable
copy machine and Dafa materials. On July 7, 2001, Duan Changsheng, who lived at 75-9 Jinglong Rd, Longxi Town,
Yubei District, was illegally taken away and his house was ransacked. On July 9, 2001, Peng Qing was arrested in front of the Xinhua Book Store in

her daughter-in-law, Yao Qingyan, away. Li Shulan was sentenced to forced labor.
The labor camp authorities refused to accept her as she failed the physical
examination. She is now still held at the detention center. Li Yulian was arrested when distributing materials at Baiquan Town. Shang Shuxia had once been released from a labor camp but is now sentenced to
forced labor again. The labor camp authorities, however, refused to accept her
as she was diagnosed with high blood pressure during the physical examination.

practitioners that they would be fired if they were found cultivating Dafa. This
criminal is the most vicious person in persecuting practitioners in Baicheng
