The Gate to Eternal Torment -- Scenes Witnessed by a Practitioner

Scene #1: Dark, shadowy figures arrived one after another in front of a black gate, and the gate suddenly opened. One could see on it the huge words "The Gate to Eternal Torment." The black figures drifted inside one by one. Inside the gate was an endless sea of fire, where countless poles were erected, and on each one hung a broken and battered body. Fiery flames and molten metal enveloped them. Their pleas for mercy and cries of pain filled the air.

"Who are these people?" I thought to myself, "Why are they being treated like this?" I was overwhelmed with a sense of pity and fear.

At this moment, many visions rose out of the fire. I saw a policeman driving in a police cruiser recklessly. He once was one of those scoundrels that viciously tortured Falun Gong practitioners. Because of his "heroic" deeds, he received special commendation from the heads of the Chinese central government in the grand hall of the People's Congress. His police baton was covered with the blood of practitioners, and his fists left permanent marks on their bodies. He stomped practitioners with his leather boots and was responsible for the deaths of many. Now he was tied tightly to a pole with a metal chain. His entire body was splashed with molten metal and pierced with countless sharp steel needles. His painful cries and pleas for mercy did nothing to change the fact that he had to pay for everything that he had done in his attempts to damage Dafa.

Scene #2:

A local neighborhood commission official received a special award from the leaders of the Chinese central government for "following the policy of the Party leaders closely" when it came to persecute Falun Gong. He had turned in practitioners in his district to the police and helped the police to arrest them. He had even persecuted the family members of practitioners and preached to innocent, ordinary people that Falun Gong was a [slanderous term omitted]. Now he was enveloped by fire, and his chest was covered with tens of thousands of sharp knifes. He was paying for the crimes that he had committed with painful suffering.

Scene #3

A follower of Jiang Zemin who worked outside of China had once paid local scoundrels and gang members to beat Dafa practitioners. Now he was on his deathbed, with painful sores covering every inch of his body. He was in so much pain that he wished for death. But he also knew that after he died, he would go to hell for sure and spend countless days in the sea of fire. No political party could save him from the terrible fate that he had brought upon himself for trying to damage Dafa.

Dear friends, some people view the expression "evil is met with evil" as a curse or a form of intimidation. The truth is that if a person is one step away from falling into a deep abyss and another person warns him in time by saying, "Don't take another step; otherwise you will fall into the abyss--" isn't that person trying to help the first person and thereby doing a good deed? Or is watching him fall into the abyss while doing nothing considered a better deed?

Gods and humans consider the same problem from different points of view. Humans only pay attention to what brings them the most benefits in the short term, while gods need to be responsible for the lives of human beings as a whole. A temporary indulgence will only give birth to even more bad deeds and words, while a timely urging, warning or even lesson has the potential to let the person see the error of his ways and go back to the righteous path. That which brings many benefits to a person is truly a good deed. "Retribution in this lifetime" is used by gods to benevolently warn humans. If humans refuse to heed the warnings, then even worse consequences await them. When they are beyond saving, then there will be no need for any warnings or lessons. "Good is rewarded with good, and evil is met with evil" is a heavenly principle, and applies to all with no exceptions. It will be too late for a person to wake up once he is sent to hell, and must suffer there to pay back the crimes that he has committed.
