Photo Report: Michigan Labor Day Hongfa
This year's Labor Day offered excellent opportunities for Michigan practitioners to spread Dafa and clarify the truth to the American people. Hongfa activities were held in three places: the Detroit Labor Day Parade, the President's Labor Day Picnic with Labor Unions and Northern Michigan's "Across the Mackinaw Bridge Walk." On the morning of September 3, about 20 practitioners set up display boards where the parade ended, and where a huge crowd gathered. They distributed thousands of flyers to the parade participants and spectators. Many people were attracted to the exercise demonstration. In the afternoon, President Bush joined the local Teamster's Union picnic. With the help of a local resident who provided the front yard where President Bush would pass by, practitioners found an excellent spot to spread the Fa. A young practitioner passed a letter to President Bush urging his help to stop the brutal persecution and free Teng Chunyan. Mr. Bush's bodyguard accepted the letter. Also on Labor Day Morning, practitioners participated in the famous "Across the Mackinaw Bridge Walk." The Mackinaw Bridge is located in Northern Michigan. It was also the first time practitioners spread the Fa in this area.
