Spreading the Fa through Chatting on the Internet By a Dafa practitioner in Malaysia
(Clearwisdom.net) I'm a student and do not have much in the way of
financial resources. When I was quite busy studying for exams, I couldn't go out
very often, but I began reading the packages of food products made in China and
found that some listed website addresses. So I started to send them emails to
clarify the truth about Falun Dafa whenever possible. When my exams began, I switched to another method: chatting online. I made
use of breaks in my daily schedule, spending 5 or 10 minutes on the net and by
doing so, what others use for fun has become a good way to spread the Fa. It is
easy to learn, and is worth doing even if you can only spend 20 minutes a day on
it. This method is suitable for many practitioners who live in remote areas, who
do not go out often, or are not able to go out, or for those who do not have a
good financial situation. In fact, no matter where we are, how busy we are, or
whatever circumstances we are in, there are always ways to spread the Fa. Now I would like to share some of my experiences with chatting on the
Internet. When I first started chatting online, very few people responded to me, some
even shouted that they would kick out the "traitor," while others
were indifferent. I started to send forth righteous thoughts, and saw that
there was a demon behind this, which is the demon of discouragement. It aims
to make you feel dejected and discouraged. So I persevered, thinking that I
would surely come across people with predestined relationship. Once I became
persistent, people soon started to reply, some said directly, "You are
right! Falun Gong is bound to be redressed!" "I support you! I
believe Falun Gong is good!" "I finally understand that [the
persecution] is fraud. It is indeed like the Cultural Revolution." Many
others have given me their postal addresses, asking me to send the VCD on the
truth of Tiananmen self-immolation case to them, as well as to the directors
of their factories [the Chinese government staged an event in which some
people committed self-immolation and then claimed these people were Falun Gong
practitioners]. I promised them one by one, while amazed to think that
these people were fiercely against Dafa at the beginning. According to statistics, there are millions of people online every day in
China alone. These people are also sentient beings, so why don't we make use
of this? If every practitioner makes use of the Internet to clarify the truth
to one person every day, then Dafa will be spread quickly and exponentially,
and the rumours will naturally die out. It does not require special computing knowledge to chat online, and you do
not need to spend time collecting email addresses. You can sign in whenever
you have time. Even if you don't know how to type, it doesn't matter. As long
as you know how to use the mouse to copy and paste, which only takes about 1
minute to learn, it will do. In fact, this method is suitable for all
practitioners, including western practitioners. If it is feasible, make full
use of it and through perseverance you will succeed. As I'm not very good at computers, please kindly point out anything improper. Posting date: 1/1/2002
