Protest Illegal Labor Camp Detention Beijing practitioner Liu Yongwang, male, 29 years old, was violently
kidnapped by Beijing policemen and later detained in Baoding City Forced Labor
Camp Team 1. To protest the illegal persecution, he has been on hunger strike
for 108 days without food or water. Several days after he went on hunger strike,
the police began to force-feed him. His life is in critical condition. As of

political security section of Luyuan Police Sub-station (phone umber:

broke into practitioner Li Yanchun's home and attempted to abduct her. Li
Yanchun didn't comply with the police and jumped from her window on the sixth floor.
She is currently under emergency care in Changchun Central Hospital. Due to the
police information blockade, her current condition is unknown to us. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Two Lawyers With Just Hearts Stand
Up for Practitioners The authorities recently conducted the trials of five practitioners in
Mudanjiang City. Two lawyers with just hearts bravely spoke for the
practitioners, rendering the trial inconclusive. In the court, some people unfurled banners and shouted "Falun Dafa is
Good!" The authorities videotaped the affair and began to arrest people
according to the tape. [China] An Awakened Policeman A practitioner shared with me her own experience. One day in October 2001,
the local police department wanted to round up a practitioner and assigned the
job to a policeman in a local substation. The policeman refused to take the
order. He said, "I won't do it. Falun Gong practitioners are all good
people. If we arrest good people like those practitioners, there will be no good
people in the world. I won't go." Because of this, he argued with the
director. Later, the authorities insisted on arresting this practitioner, so the
policeman notified the practitioner and told her to go into hiding temporarily. At present, as the time of the Fa rectifying the human world is approaching,

Sentenced to Two Years Imprisonment Practitioner Tao Hongyan from Qinzhou Guangxi Autonomous Region was illegally
sentenced to two years imprisonment. On December 28 2001, she was sent to
Guangxi Female Forced Labor Camp. Many practitioners were detained in this labor
camp; the age of those detained range from a woman over 70 years old to
15-year-old children. Lele and his father from Nanning City both were detained. Their 80-year-old
grandma is now alone at home. He is only 16 years old and has had to live on
winter melon soup in the detention center for nearly a year. In addition,
everyone must pay 25 Yuan everyday for meals. How can they continue to support
his old grandmother? People with kind hearts, please try your best to help these innocent
practitioners. [Guangdong Province] Practitioner Dai Yanhong Being Detained in Forced Labor
Camp Past Original Term Practitioner Dai Yanhong was sentenced to one year forced labor and should
have been released on December 14, 2000. However, the labor camp tried
everything to extend her term. Her originally sentence ended on December 14
2000, so she has been detained past her term for more than one year. We demand
the relevant authorities to correct this situation immediately and release Dai
Yanhong. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Benxi City Police Abduct Many Practitioners Many practitioners were arrested and detained in Benxi City Weining Forced
Labor Camp. The evil force of the labor camp is out of control. They used many
brutal inhuman methods to torture practitioners. They brainwash practitioners to
destroy their state of mind and tried to force the practitioners to step on

Righteous Thoughts to Eradicate the Evil Behind Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp Many practitioners were transferred from forced labor camps in various parts
of Jilin Province to Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City. They are
being held in a newly constructed prison, where they are suffering many cruel
tortures. The cries caused by the torture were so loud that they could be heard
from the old prison building. We hope that all Falun Dafa practitioners in Jilin Province will send forth
righteous thoughts together at 8:00 p.m. every night to eradicate the evil in
Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp, Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp of Jiutai City, and
Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp. In addition, we ask everyone to eradicate the evil
that controls the local police departments throughout Jilin Province and all
other evil that damages Dafa. [Hulan County, Heilongjiang Province] Two Falun Dafa Practitioners Are
Abducted Two Falun Dafa practitioners in Hulan County of Heilongjiang Province went to
the home of a fellow practitioner between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. on December 22.
They were illegally arrested after being turned in by a neighbor. The two
practitioners had brought several copies of self-adhesive truth-clarifying
literature with them. [Wuchang City, Heilongjiang Province] Facts Regarding the Abduction and
Extortion of Falun Dafa Practitioners (continued) Zhang Linjie, Falun Dafa practitioner from Fu'an brigade of the Shuanggong
Commune went to Beijing to validate Dafa at the end of 2000. He was illegally
detained in a detention center in Beijing for 16 days. During that time, he went
on a hunger strike for 8 days, but they still extorted 300 Yuan (more than
half of an average monthly salary in Chinese cities) from him for "food
and travel expenses." Ten days after he was sent back home, commune
officials tricked him into going to the Xinghuashan Detention Center. They
illegally detained him there for four months and seven days. Later, he went on a
hunger strike to protest and was finally released in May. Once he was released,
the local 610 Office extorted another 500 Yuan from him. The Wuchang Police
Department extorted 200 Yuan from him for "issuing a release
document." The Xinghuashan Detention Center extorted 400 Yuan for
"food expenses." Zhang Yuhong is a female Falun Dafa practitioner from Dujia Township, Wuchang
City. On November 18, 2000, the Wuchang City Liaison Office in Beijing extorted
100 Yuan from her. On November 23, 2000, the No.2 Detention Center of Wuchang
City extorted 500 Yuan from her. From January to April 2001, the No.2 Detention
Center of Wuchang City and the 610 Office of Wuchang City extorted 3,000 Yuan
from her. From January to April 2001, the Dujia Township Police Station extorted
1,000 Yuan from her. During this time, Zuo Fenghe extorted a total of 4,600
Yuan. On the Spring Festival Day of 2001, she was tricked into going to the
detention center from her parents' home and illegally detained for about four
months. During the period of her illegal detention she was forced to attend a
brainwashing class for more than twenty days. After she was released, the police
still often went to her home to harass her. They would try to force her to write
different kinds of promise statements and notes by threatening and intimidating
her. [Beijing] Wang Tao Illegally Sentenced to Three Years of Forced Labor Wang Tao is a Falun Dafa practitioner from Beijing. He was a young teacher at
No.165 Middle School in Dongcheng District. In April 2001, he was forced to
leave home because he refused to accept what was taught at a brainwashing class.
In October, he was arrested while distributing Falun Dafa truth-clarifying
materials. He was illegally sentenced to three years of forced labor. His elder brother Wang Hongwei is also a steadfast Falun Dafa practitioner.
In December 2000, he went to Tiananmen Square to validate Dafa along with other
Dafa practitioners from other parts of the country. He was arrested and
illegally sentenced to seven years of imprisonment. Now, he is being illegally
detained in Chadian Prison. His elderly mother has been left at home with no one to take care of her. Her
health is poor. Because the policemen have gone to her home to harass her many
times, she is very scared. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Jilin Institute of Technology Illegally
Expels Students That Hold to Their Belief in Dafa About two months ago, a female Falun Dafa practitioner in her first year at
the Jilin Institute of Technology was expelled because she practiced Falun Dafa. Recently, a Falun Dafa practitioner wrote about 100 truth-clarifying letters
by hand and put them into Institute mailboxes located on the eastern campus.
After Institute officials found one of the letters, they opened up all the
mailboxes and removed the letters. Some students were even requested to return
the letters they had already taken. They placed a bulletin board that slandered Dafa in the hall on the first
floor and assigned people to watch it. A Falun Dafa practitioner who was a
student of the school was not aware that it was a trap. He was arrested when he
erased the board. This Dafa practitioner practiced Falun Dafa steadfastly and
did not compromise with the evil, so he was expelled by the school. After this, the evil people in the school began to investigate all the
students and continued to put up bulletin boards that slandered Falun Dafa. As a
result, the officials caught another Falun Dafa practitioner. Because this Dafa
practitioner cultivated steadfastly, he was also expelled. The evil people continue to put up bulletins in order to arrest
practitioners, and they also forced every student in the school to write statements
