New Jersey: Mayor and City Council of the Borough of Ramsey Pass Resolution Condemning the Violence and Repression against Falun Gong Practitioners in China


On November 28, 2001, the mayor and city council of the Borough of Ramsey, New Jersey passed a Resolution condemning the Chinese Government's violence against and repression of Falun Gong practitioners. A copy of the Resolution will be forwarded to United States federal officials including President George W. Bush, Secretary of State Colin L. Powell and senators and congressmen. A copy of this Resolution will also be forwarded to Yang Jiechi, the Ambassador of China to the US, Zhang Hongxi, the Consul General in New York, and other Chinese officials.
