(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of January 11th, Vancouver practitioners gathered at the Chinese Consulate to distribute literature and practice the exercises. They used loudspeakers to talk to passersby about the recent torture and killing of Falun Gong practitioners. They also set up a television to play videotapes exposing the persecution in China. Many people stopped and showed their support.

At 2 p.m., practitioners held a press conference to inform the media and the public of the recent death cases and to release the names and phone numbers of the evil-doers.

Practitioners then held a candlelight vigil in the evening as part of activities that will continue throughout the weekend.
