Petition in front of San Francisco Chinese Consulate Enters the Second Day


Over 80 practitioners from Northern California came to the front of San Francisco's Chinese Consulate at 9:00 a.m. on January 12, 2002 to send forth righteous thoughts and practice the exercises. The protest entered the second day. Some practitioners drove for more than two hours to join the activity. The participating practitioners ranged from the very young to over 80 years old.

The practitioners practiced the exercises and sent forth righteous thoughts. The serene state touched passers-by and they condemned the Jiang regime's brutal and inhuman persecution of Falun Gong. An elderly lady who passed by said to the practitioners, "I know Falun Gong. I read news about you. I support you." "God bless you and China. I'll pray for your righteous actions." A truck driver who passed by said to a practitioner handing out Dafa materials, "You must continue. Good luck!"
