Practitioners' Peaceful Appeal Outside the Chinese Consulate in Chicago (Day 2)

On January 12, practitioners from the Chicago area continued their peaceful appeal outside the Chinese Consulate and protested the recently escalating brutal murdering of Falun Dafa practitioners. Practitioners read a formal statement and Illinois government official's letters condemning the harsh repression of Falun Gong practitioners.

Today over 100 practitioners gathered in front of the Chinese consulate, including practitioners from Illinois as well as practitioners from the states of Ohio, Michigan, Missouri and South Dakota. Some practitioners drove ten hours to join the activities. Some practitioners from far away arrived when the event was about to finish. When they heard that in just twenty days, 20 practitioners had been murdered in China, who could remain indifferent!

After the press conference, practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts with practitioners around the world. With their pure and steadfast righteous thoughts, they eliminated all evils that do harm to Dafa. When the night fell, candles were lit to commemorate those who had sacrificed their lives to uphold the principle of Truth-Compassion-Tolerance and safeguard the Fa.
