Supplement to the Article: "Brutal Torture and Atrocities Committed Against Dafa Practitioners at the Shayang Forced Labor Camp, Hubei Province"
In 2000, I was illegally sent to a labor camp because I went to Beijing to
appeal. I was beaten all over my body, and it was hard to move my legs. In early
June 2001, I was moved from solitary confinement to a strictly controlled team.
At 10 p.m. on the first day in the new team, Team Leader Zhang Xiuming put
out an order to be stricter with me. They asked me to go to a security
room. As soon as I stepped in, several guards forced me to kneel down on the
floor and handcuffed me behind my back. Two guards stepped on my legs and
pressed my shoulders while another guard used an electric baton to beat me. They
saw that I wouldn't give in, so they beat the bottom of my feet until blisters
appeared. After that, these thugs used iron chains to hang me up and continued
to use an electric baton to strike me. Still, they decided that it was not
severe enough, so they ripped my clothes and put the electric baton directly to
my skin. When the baton battery went low, they continued to beat me while it was
charging. During that time, two large guards took turns madly using their knees
to strike my legs until I couldn't move them. Then they used the charged baton
to strike many sensitive parts. After my face went numb, they moved the baton to
my private area. One of the guards was very vicious, holding the electric baton on
my private area for a long time. One after another, electric currents shocked my
body and made me shake violently. This caused two very big blisters, and I
experienced a horrible burning feeling. They saw that I still wouldn't give in,
so the guards threw the baton away and punched my head repeatedly. The
vicious torture lasted until 3 a.m.
Later, the thugs forced me to do a so-called "military drill."
Although my legs were swollen and couldn't move or bend at all, the special
police team leader, Guo Lei, told some of the criminals to push me from behind.
When I was knocked down, they pulled me up and push me again. At one point,
several of them just picked me up and threw me down to the ground. After being
tortured for so long, I was exhausted and felt severe pain all over my body.
However, Wang Gang, the assistant team leader said, "That's not enough, do
it some more."
Then the special police team leader, Guo Lei, said to some criminals,
"Two of you form a team and take turns pushing him." So, they pushed
me again for a long time until they were too tired to do it any more. However,
the brutality did not stop there. Guo Lei then forced me to put my feet on a
step and my hands on the ground to do push-ups. When he saw that I couldn't push
myself up, he used a small stool to hit me violently. I was paralyzed on the
ground, but that was still not enough for them. I was picked up again and hit by
a flurry of punches and kicks. This cruel torture made me dizzy and finally I
lost consciousness.
This is how the strictly controlled team in Shayang Labor Camp viciously
beats Dafa practitioners. They used so-called "military drills" to
torture Dafa practitioners. The practitioners had to do strenuous exercises
continuously under the hot summer sun. The guards also used criminals to torture
Dafa practitioners. We continuously had to sit in a military posture. If you
shut your eyes for a little while, you would be awakened by a guard's fists. Going
to the bathroom was restricted day and night. If you were permitted to use the
bathroom, the time limit was 3 minutes, otherwise you would be pulled out by
guards.
The criminals racked their brains to come up with new ways to torture Dafa
practitioners. They beat and cursed the practitioners or forced them to do some
movements that caused great pain. Every cell was filled with filthy words and
all kinds of evil violence, too numerous to retell. In this vicious place, Dafa
practitioners have suffered too many beatings and tortures.
We appeal to all kind-hearted people in the world. Please help stop the
inhumane persecution of Dafa practitioners in Shayang Labor Camp, Hubei
Province.
