We strongly deplore the brutal persecution of millions of Falun Gong practitioners by the totalitarian regime of China. In our view, the Chinese people should have the right to practice their spiritual beliefs including the right to practice Falun Gong.

Under Article 18 of the United Nations Charter of Human Rights, everyone has the right and liberty to believe in any spiritual system. Hence we urge the Chinese regime to adhere to Article 18 of the UN Charter honestly. We regard Falun Gong as Spiritual practice that brings immense benefits to its practitioners. We appreciate the peaceful and non-violent way of resistance by Falun Gong practitioners to the brutalities of the Chinese regime.

We call upon the International Legal fraternity and the world spiritual leaders to help Falun Gong practitioners in China by bringing pressure upon the Chinese regime to respect basic Human Rights as granted in the Chinese Constitution. We also urge the legal Luminaries of the world to provide all kinds of support to the Falun Gong practitioners, which they may require.

Our Association expresses its total solidarity with the Falun Gong practitioners who are being victimized by the Chinese regime and appeal to the world leaders to extend their support for this noble cause.

We further appeal to the UN General Secretary to prevail upon the Chinese Government to respect the basic human rights as mentioned in the United Nations Declaration on Human Rights.

The Association does positively hope that better sense will prevail upon the Chinese Leadership and they will restore the freedom of spiritual belief of Falun Gong practitioners in China.
