The Belgian Falun Dafa Association received lots of requests from local governments and residents to participate in the appeal for Falun Gong, organized by Amnesty International. A local tourist office called and asked for a petition letter to collect signatures for us. Local residents frequently called or sent us mail to support Falun Gong.

Good people see good things

A Chinese national who has lived in Belgium for many years came to the practice site to learn Falun Gong. She told us that she hadn't heard of Falun Gong in the past. Her younger sister once went to the Chinese Embassy and took a copy of the brochures that falsely charged Falun Gong. She read the brochure and found that Buddha had spoken of the things cited in sentences from Mr. Li Hongzhi. She was sure Falun Gong must cultivate Buddhahood. By coincidence she spotted our posting for Falun Gong exercises and immediately came to join us.

People are awakening

Once I met a Chinese-looking mother and daughter in a subway station. I chatted with them and realized they were Vietnamese and couldn't read the truth-clarifying material in Chinese. But the mother insisted on taking the material home and was very happy to hold it. I then took out the leaflets in French and talked with the daughter. Her father is Chinese. She was very sad and couldn't understand why Jiang's regime uncontrollably persecutes Falun Gong, and she refused to accept the way Jiang's regime treats Falun Gong. She likes China and the Chinese people, not Jiang's government. When changing trains at a station, they purposely changed their route in order to ride on the same train with me, wanting to learn more about the truth of Falun Gong.

Once I met a Chinese person on a bus. We talked about the cultivation stories in the movie "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon." When I told him that I was a cultivator too, he immediately responded, "You must be practicing Falun Gong." Naturally I told him my cultivation experiences and the cruel persecution of Falun Gong by Jiang's regime. He listened carefully. Before we said goodbye, I gave him a copy of the Falun Gong truth-clarifying VCD and other materials. He gladly accepted and began to read the materials immediately.
