Yanji encountered a violent snowstorm, the likes of which had not been seen in 50 years. Transportation broke down and airports were closed

Yanji City, the capital of Yanbian Koreans autonomous prefecture at Jilin Province is now suffering as a result of an exceptionally serious snowstorm. The storm started at 11:00 p.m. on January 6^th and ended at 8:00 a.m. on the 8^th. The snowstorm lasted for 33 hours. This has been the strongest snowfall in the local area since 1953 when weather records were first introduced.

According to reports from China News, the unusual snowstorm brought Yanji City unprecedented trouble never before seen. Transportation was paralyzed. Vehicles were rendered useless and barely able to move an inch. The snowstorm seriously affected everyone in Yanji City. The Yanji Airport was closed down and all working places were at a complete standstill. The damage caused by the snowstorm is now being evaluated.

This extraordinary disaster was not an accident. The evil's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners has caused this disaster.

Mr. Wang Tiesong, a 32-year-old forestry worker from Jilin Province, China, was tortured to death on December 4th, 2001 in the Yanbian Labor Camp for refusing to renounce his practice of Falun Gong.

Sources in China related that the Boiler Installation Company under the Baihe Forestry Bureau employed Mr. Wang in Jilin Province. He practiced Falun Gong from 1996 until his illegal detention in Yanji Labor Camp in October 2000.

According to sources close to the event, immediately following Mr. Wang's death, the Yanbian government officials, the Public Security Bureau, and the labor camp worked together to frame his death as a suicide. They announced the cause of death as a three-day hunger strike. The officials, fearing that Mr. Wang's relatives might expose the crime, arranged for a staged emergency procedure at a local hospital.

According to eyewitnesses, by the time Mr. Wang's body arrived at the hospital his breathing had already stopped for a long time. However, the police demanded that his body be placed on artificial life support and that oxygen be administered. Under such conditions, the lifeless body of Mr.Wang remained on life support for 11 days until December 15th. Eyewitnesses in the hospital agreed that Mr.Wang's body should have been sent to the mortuary. However, the police demanded that the record read "emergency procedures failed to revive the patient." At this time, Mr. Wang's eyes were open. One pupil was dilated. The other eye was deeply sunken in its socket. His ribs had been broken in several places. There were wounds covering his body.

Following his death, one of Wang Tiesong's relatives challenged the officials' claim that the death was a "suicide." This relative was met with the threat, "If you dare to say that again, we will arrest you too."

If humans cannot punish the perpetrators, heaven will. One month after Mr. Wang Tiesong was tortured to death a violent snowstorm hit Yanji City. A storm like that had not been seen for 50 years. Kind-hearted people, the compassionate Gods and Buddhas are using various means to warn people.
