Practitioners in China Propose that 2002 Spring Festival be Renamed "Jiangsu Province Falun Dafa Day"

We propose that February 10^th, 2002, be known as "Jiangsu Province Falun Dafa Day."

This Falun Dafa Day is an opportunity to break through the notions that the evil has forced upon us. We firmly believe that Falun Dafa Days will soon be established everywhere. A Falun Dafa Day for the whole country of China will also become a reality in the process of Dafa practitioners' striving forward.

The Spring Festival is the first day of Spring and also the first day of the season of rebirth. Therefore, we hope more people's compassion and consciences will be renewed on this day. Choosing this day implies that the people deceived by lies will become thoroughly clear-headed, and that hearts which have been apathetic towards the evil's slandering of the universal truth of Dafa will once again send forth compassion and help dissolve the evil. Falun Dafa practitioners' wisdom will radiate even greater magnificent splendor!

On December 22, 2001, the establishment of Changchun Falun Dafa Day shook up the evil in that area and hastened the elimination of the evil there. Due to the persecution, some Dafa practitioners had sealed or half-sealed themselves off and stopped their experience sharing with fellow steadfast practitioners. To establish Falun Dafa Day is to break the notions formed by the brutal persecution. These are notions that the evil forced onto us. Breaking the constraints of these notions will reinforce the experience sharing of practitioners and enable them to follow Master's Fa-rectification process to clear up all evil sooner.

Here, we suggest setting February 10, 2002 as "Jiangsu Province Falun Dafa Day."

We are going to send forth our purest, strongest, and most righteous thoughts on the evening of the Spring Festival Eve, February 9th, at 9, 10, 11 and 12 a.m. (10th) and on February 10th at 5, 6, and 7 a.m. and again at 9, 10, and 11 p.m., Beijing time. Completely eliminate all evil that damages Dafa in Jiangsu Province, China, and the Cosmos, encompassing all and leaving out none.

Falun Dafa practitioners in Jiangsu Province salute our most honorable, most compassionate and most respected Teacher! Honorable Master, we are going to firmly implement our oath of "Making a wish to save sentient beings, assisting teacher in his journey in this world!" We are going to strive forward, cultivate solidly, and use our pure hearts and thoughts to fulfill our responsibilities as Falun Dafa practitioners. We are going to eliminate evil, save the sentient beings, and embrace that great moment when the Fa rectifies the human world and "All of the heavens and the earth celebrate together, rejoice together, and exalt together." ("Foretelling the Fa's Rectification of the Human World.")
