Encouraging Stories of Distributing Leaflets

(Clearwisdom.net) The following are several simple and plain, but inspiring and encouraging little stories.

One evening after class, I went to a Plaza. I saw many Chinese from the mainland sitting there, and I distributed among them copies of the booklet, "The Peaceful Journey of Falun Dafa," that I had brought with me. Some took it, some said they had already received it, and some said, "Thank you." Their attitudes were quite different from what I have seen before.

I know that this change is inseparable from the effort made by every practitioner, either in the mainland or overseas. Many travelers have said that they have seen Falun Gong practitioners everywhere: in the USA, Canada, Europe, Singapore, Japan, and Hong Kong. In every tourist scenic spot in Hong Kong, there are some practitioners distributing leaflets, presenting VCDs, or showing truth-clarifying pictures. At the beginning, some travelers verbally abused them terribly. Gradually, our practitioners learned how to use their wisdom and became very good at handling people, including those who meant to do damage on purpose.

Once a man said slanderously, "Don't you want to commit hara-kiri (a kind of suicide by cutting open one's own belly)?" A practitioner replied instantly, "Sir, would you be so stupid?" This single sentence rendered all the mainland travelers on the spot speechless. Feeling embarrassed, that man laughed a hollow laugh, "heh heh," and uttered no more words after that. The other people had also appeared to have realized something.

Where there is a scenic spot with any tourist group, there are practitioners clarifying truth. This gave the mainland travelers many chances to know the truth. To them, the most puzzling thing is that Hong Kong's policemen get along with Dafa practitioners very well, often saying hello and extending friendly greetings to each other.

When a tourist group came, a policeman purposely got close to the practitioners and greeted them, and they gave their regards to each other. A tourist from the mainland felt very bewildered and asked a practitioner, "Do you know him very well?" The practitioner told him that the policeman was coming to protect practitioners in case Jiang's regime should send someone to make trouble. The tourist immediately waved his hand saying, "I am not coming to make trouble!"

Such stories go on everyday. More and more people are truly coming to understand Dafa.
