After learning that 20 Falun Dafa practitioners were tortured to death within 22 days in China, Israel Dafa practitioners decided to hold three-day candlelight vigil in front of the Chinese Embassy in Tel Aviv to clarify the true facts and expose the Jiang regime's persecution against Falun Gong practitioners. Though it rained for three days, many practitioners participated the activity.

On the first day, a state TV station aired the news of the practitioners' candlelight vigil twice. Reporters of a special topic program interviewed two practitioners including Xing whose sister was arrested in Beijing for clarifying the true facts. Later the program reported positively on Falun Dafa. In the evening, a cable TV station covered the event and broadcasted during the evening news two hours later.

On the second day, a lady passed the site coincidently and told the practitioners that at 9:00 p.m. the Cinemateque theater in Tel Aviv would hold an opening ceremony for "Chinese Movie Week" as one activity celebrating the 10 year anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between China and Israel. After learning that the ambassador Pan would attend the ceremony, several practitioners decided to go to the theater to speak out the true facts about the persecution of practitioners in China.

The practitioners brought posters, banners and flyers and went to the theater. Almost all Israel people entering the theater accepted the flyers. When a practitioner spoke with a reporter from a major news agency, a staff from the Chinese Embassy passed by and verbally abused the practitioner. The staff member's rudeness shocked the reporter. The evil forces are afraid of people knowing the truth and after a short while someone complained to police claiming that the practitioners were "disturbing public order." After the practitioners kindheartedly explained the situation to the police, they were allowed to continue the activity without any further problem.

After the movie was shown, an owner of a restaurant supplying food for the ceremony brought a whole dish of food over to the practitioners. Near the end of the film, the practitioners went to the theater and lit candles in paper holders placed at an angle to prevent the the lights from being extinguished by the rain. When the audience came out of the theater and saw that many people were standing in the rain during the vigil, many stepped forward to ask the reason and inquire about more information on Dafa.

On the third day, the rain was even stronger but the determination of the practitioners did not waver. They held banners and posters, practiced the exercises and sent forth righteous thoughts.
