After Their Crimes Were Exposed, Police in Zhengding County, Hebei Province, Savagely Tortured Falun Gong Practitioners

(Clearwisdom.net) After the persecution and torture death of Falun Gong practitioner Zhao Fengnian was exposed, police in Zhengding County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province stepped up their unconscionable large-scale persecution of area Falun Gong practitioners. At the beginning of July 2001, innocent Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Bai Jingyi was arrested at home. When he was taken to the Politics and Security Section, a corrup police officer asked Mr. Bai, "Who posted Zhao Fengnian's death on the internet?" and "Where did you get Falun Gong materials?" Not wanting to betray his fellow practitioners, Mr. Bai was brutally beaten and left with ugly wounds and bruises all over his body. He became unconscious. A police officer commented, "Zheng Lanrui [another practitioner] was more seriously beaten than Bai Jingyi, but Zheng Lanrui did not lose consciousness. How come Bai Jingyi lost consciousness after only a half-day's beating?" Later, Mr. Bai was sent to the County Hospital for emergency treatment. The authorities at hospital were told to keep Mr. Bai's incident from going public. If anyone asked around regarding the incident, hospital personnel were instructed to reply that Mr. Bai was having a serious cold. If Mr. Bai died, the hospital personnel were to falsely claim that Mr. Bai had committed suicide. After a few days, Mr. Bai Jingyi regained consciousness and was sent to Zhengding County Detention Center. At the time of this writing, five Falun Gong practitioners are being unlawfully detained and facing accusations in Zhengding County. They are: Zheng Lanrui (Female), Song Jianmin (Male), Zheng Lanxia (Female), Bai Jingyi (Female), Wei Zhanjun (Male).

Zheng Lanrui, her husband Song Jianmin and her sister Zheng Lanrui together have four school-age children. The youngest is 12 years old. We are once again asking for the help from decent people around the world to stop this evil and torture and to pay attention to these innocent children.
