Clarify the Truth to the People and Allow no Space for the Evil to Hide

(Clearwisdom.net) When clarifying the truth, sometimes my state was not quite good. The more eager I was to make my point clear, the worse was the effect. At this time my mentality became worse and my expression became unnatural. I was worrying while speaking, "He must not be not listening!" This influenced the effect of the truth clarification.

When I calmed down to study the Fa and looked inward, I remembered what Teacher said in Further Understanding,

"Do you realize that as long as you're a cultivator, in any environment or under any circumstances, I will use any troubles or unpleasant things you come across -- even if they involve work for Dafa, or no matter how good or sacred you think they are -- to eliminate your attachments and expose your demon-nature so that it can be eliminated, for your improvement is what's most important. If you are able to succeed in improving yourself this way, what you do then, with a pure heart, will be the best and most sacred."

I found out my attachment of being too eager to make others understand. I did not have enough wisdom and rationality. I was critical of others, saying things like, "You're all deceived and are too apathetic," leading others to opposite viewpoints.

Now, I keep a pure state of mind to ensure that I have the proper tone of voice, kindheartedness and reasoning. When clarifying the truth, I select the appropriate viewpoint for talking according to each different audience. Sometimes I calmly speak out to strangers my own understandings and what I have heard and seen from the viewpoint of a third party to encourage them to think. Sometimes I start with stories about retribution in this lifetime and some fairy tales, and slowly guide them to appreciate "Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance." In this way, the effect of truth clarification has changed.

Once I clarified the truth to one of my relatives and asked her to watch the VCD of the "Tiananmen Self-Immolation" case. After watching it, she said angrily, "How can it be like this, it's so cruel." She got to understand at that time, but the evil also kept concocting rumors and deluding people. After another disgusting propaganda show, the "Fu murder case," was concocted by Jiang's regime, she was puzzled, "I wonder who is lying." I then peacefully talked about several issues with her:

1. Over the past two years all the photos provided by both the Chinese authorities and the media have been all about the police arresting and beating Falun Gong practitioners, but there aren't any of practitioners retaliating. Whether they are young men, old people, women, or children, none of them have ever retaliated when facing the violence and unjust treatment. How could they be killing people?
2. There are so many people practicing Falun Gong overseas. Why have no such cases ever been reported overseas?
3. The government controls the Chinese media. However, the governments in Western democracies are not only unable to control the media, but are in fact monitored by the media. The authenticity of reports by Chinese government-controlled media is very hard to verify.

After hearing these, she nodded and said, "It's reasonable. The director of our company also said, 'This is the Cultural Revolution all over again.'"

I realized that the evil is all-pervasive, but those who have gotten to know the truth can free themselves from the evil's control. If all the people know about the truth, the evil will no longer have any space to hide.

Of course, we should not forget to send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil in other spaces that manipulates people. When I was showing my family the VCD of the "Tiananmen Self-Immolation Case," the power went out as soon as I loaded the VCD. My partner and I suddenly realized it was interference and sent forth righteous thoughts together. The power was soon on again. After watching the VCD, my relatives said, "We understand now." They no longer believe any of the malicious rumors and even clarify the truth to others.
