School Teachers Study and Practice Falun Gong During Their Winter Vacations in Tainan City, Taiwan

From January 21 to 25, 2002, the Falun Gong Research Association held a five-day "Tainan Winter Vacation Falun Gong Study and Practicing Camp for Teachers" in Huaguo Primary School under the direction of the Tainan City Department of Education. The Department of Education hoped that the study camp would relieve the teachers' stress, improve their physical and mental health, promote life and moral education, and purify people's minds in society.

The Falun Gong Study and Practicing Camp for Teachers held last year had a big impact on the attendees. Many teachers became healthy, and after returning to their schools tried teaching the Falun Dafa principle of Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance to their students. Some of them set up practicing and studying groups. Many students experienced a big change in both their behavior and their studies. Thus, during this winter vacation, 21 counties and cities all over Taiwan held Falun Gong studying and practicing camps. The spokesperson for the Falun Gong Research Association said, "The promotional activity all over Taiwan happened because the people in those places to which Falun Gong has spread have become healthy and upgraded their Xinxing and moral values, which makes the society really peaceful and serene."

The content of the class focused on showing videos of Master Li's lectures. Some well-known people from different circles, including professors, lawyers, doctors, managers, and administers in Buddhist organizations were invited to share their cultivation experiences. After the meeting, Dafa practitioners taught the exercises. The study class in Taiwan is a prominent example of the Falun Gong being spread worldwide.
