Unselfish Giving Deeply Moves Ordinary People

High-ranking engineer Lang Dianyong is a Technical Expert in the Safety-Technology Research Center of Dalian Petroleum Chemicals Company. He has been highly productive in his scientific field after cultivating Falun Dafa.

On February 8^th, 2001, Lang Dianyong was illegally sentenced to 2 years of re-education through forced labor because of the evil persecution against Falun Dafa. He was fired from his job, and his current research project about static electricity was taken over by others in his company.

In November 2001, that project came to a dead end. The company however, had already invested 2 million Yuan into the project, and considered it the primary project of the Research Center [note: the average monthly salary of an urban worker is 500 Yuan]. His old boss had to go to the labor camp to beg him to return to his position, if he would only write an "agreement" [to stop practicing Falun Dafa]. At that time, Lang Dianyong's hands had festered beyond recognition, and his body was very weak as the result of 9 months of torture. But he was not intimidated by these brutal tortures, and he was not moved by any desire for personal fame or profit. He refused to write any "agreement" in breach of Dafa. In order to save the project, he gave all of his research files to the Research Center unconditionally. Everyone at his old workplace who knew this was deeply moved by his unselfishness. They all recognized that Dafa practitioners are people of a very high realm.
