[Hefei City, Anhui Province] The Jiang Zemin and Luo Gan Terrorist Regime Kill Falun Dafa Practitioners and Destroy Their Families

A female Falun Dafa practitioner Li Jun, traveled many times to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Dafa. Her younger sister, Li Mei, was tortured to death in the Female Forced Labor Camp during the year 2000. Li Jun and her husband Wu Xin held the Female Forced Labor Camp officials accountable for their crimes. Li Jun and her husband left home and went to Shanghai, leaving behind their child, grandmother (a Dafa practitioner) and grandfather (a non-practitioner) unattended at home. During APEC, Wu Xin was illegally arrested while working on truth-clarifying materials. In early November, Li Jun was transferred to the Hefei Hospital from the Shanghai Hospital. It was at this location that she passed away in early December. The grandmother was also illegally incarcerated into the Female Forced Labor Camp because she cultivated Falun Dafa. She doesn't know her eldest daughter is no longer alive. This family has been destroyed. Only Li Jun's child and the grandfather are left, depending solely upon each other for survival.

This is a call to all kind-hearted people. Please pay close attention to this family, broken by Jiang Zemin's state terrorism.

[Dazhi County, Guangxi Autonomous Region] A Dafa Practitioner in Guangxi Is Tortured to Death

A 35 year old, male practitioner, Wang Rencheng, was a resident of Dazhi Street in Dazhi Town, Qinzhou City, Guangxi Chuang Municipality Autonomous Region. On December 5, 2000, he was illegally detained in the Qinzhou No.2 Detention Center by the Qinbei District Police Department after he distributed Dafa truth-clarifying flyers. He was in good health before his detention, however, on June 26, 2001 the police said that he had "died of illness". Wang Rencheng had studied the Fa and practiced the exercise for several years. He maintained a normal work life as well as a normal life in society. However, only half a year after his illegal detention by the vicious police, he passed away.

A 40-year-old male Falun Gong practitioner, Ta Dehui, is a resident of Taozhu Village of Natao Village Committee, Dazhi Town, Qinzhou City, Guangxi Chuang Municipality Autonomous Region. On December 4, 2000, he was illegally detained in the Qinzhou No.2 Detention Center by the Qinbei District Police Department after he distributed Dafa truth-clarifying flyers. During the illegal detention, a policeman named Luo put shackles on him, then pulled him out and kicked his shackles simply because he practiced the exercises. After this, his feet became swollen because he was not allowed to practice the exercises. He was bailed out for two months. After recovering, he was again illegally detained in the detention center. Shortly afterwards, he was illegally sentenced to 2 years of forced labor education.

[Changchun City, Jilin Province] Changchun Police Abduct Dafa Practitioners, Causing Two Practitioners to Fall to Their Deaths from a Building

Several Dafa practitioners were forced to leave home and wander to avoid illegal arrest and torture for their persistence in cultivating Falun Dafa. They temporally lived in an apartment inside a 7-floor building on Linhe Street of Changchun City. Around 7:00 p.m. on March 3, 2001, a gang of vicious police illegally pried open the locked door of the apartment with an iron stick and attempted to break into a room containing 9 practitioners. Their excuse was that the practitioners didn't open the door for them to check their residence cards. The practitioners pushed against the door with all their strength to prevent the illegal search, and screamed for help.

Around 10:00 pm, several dozen vicious police smashed in the door, and illegally broke into the room to arrest the practitioners. As a result, two practitioners fell to their deaths from the 7th Floor. One male practitioner in his twenties and one female practitioner in her fifties died. The other 7 practitioners were illegally sent to Xinglongshan Brainwashing Class. 20 days later, they were all illegally sentenced to 2 years of forced labor education. They are currently detained in the Changchun City Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp and Changchun City Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp respectively.

[Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Additional Information About the Situation of Dafa Practitioner Li Xiumei, Who was Persecuted to Death by Dalian Vicious Police

Li Xiumei lived in the Xingfu Residential District on Xi'nan Road, Shahekou District of Dalian City before her death. She was a retired employee of Dalian Transportation Company. Two residents reported her to Xishan Village Police Station in Shahekou District while she was distributing truth-clarifying materials. She was then sent to Yaojia Detention Center, and was illegally detained there.

[Qinzhou City, Guangxi Autonomous Region] Urgent Call to Rescue the Three Illegally Detained Young Mothers in Qinzhou City, Guangxi Autonomous Region

On December 12, 2001, three Falun Gong practitioners in Qinzhou City, Guangxi Autonomous Region went to the Beijing Appeals Office to get justice for Falun Dafa. After coming back home, they were illegally detained in Qinzhou City No. 1 and No. 2 Detention Centers respectively by the Police Department.

These three Dafa practitioners are Shi Guiquan, Tao Hongyan and Fu Lanying.

Shi Guiquan is a female who is roughly 30 years old, and has two children. One is 3 years and the other is only 15 months of age. Tao Hongyan is a female who is 33 years old, and has a 7-year-old child. Fu Lanying is a female who is 35 years old. She is a university graduate, and has two children; one is 8, and the other 3 years old. All of these young women are currently in illegal detention, and completely isolated from the outside world. We call upon the righteous people of the world to extend their helping hands, and allow these children to see their mothers again as soon as possible.

[Weifang City, Shandong Province] "Government and Bandits are One Family": A Falun Dafa Practitioner's Home is Ransacked

On November 21, 2001, in Weifang City, of Shandong Province, a Falun Dafa practitioner's home was illegally ransacked.

The secretary of Qianyao Village had tricked the practitioner in a phone call. Upon the practitioner's arrival, a group of evil policemen forced him into a police vehicle and took him to his home. Then a crowd of about twenty or thirty policemen rushed his home and ransacked it like bandits.

Altogether, they illegally confiscated:

1. Teacher's picture, two entire sets of Falun Dafa books, and at least ten copies of the book Zhuan Falun.
2. Four or five gallons of paint for spraying, about 100 banners (two to six meters long) and more than 500 meters (547 yards) of fabric.
3. A 50 inch, color television, worth over 20,000 Yuan RMB (over three times the average annual salary in China).
4. A home cinema/audio system, worth over 8,000 Yuan (about the average annual salary in China) and two VCR's.
5. 5. A sedan,16,000 Yuan in cash, and two receipts for loans, one of which was 70,000 Yuan and the other, 2,000 Yuan.

They forced his family members, who are non-practitioners, to open the safe, and stole the ownership documents for two houses. They also looted all the cosmetics of the practitioner's daughter, a non-practitioner. Many other items of personal property were taken, too many to enumerate.

It was the Weicheng Police Department in Weifang City of Shandong Province that ransacked the practitioner's home. The evil policeman who was in charge of persecuting Falun Gong is Xu Wensheng. Five practitioners were illegally arrested. The evil policemen took over his home and would immediately arrest anybody entering his home, even the son (a non-practitioner) when he came to visit his parents.

[Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Falun Gong Practitioner Liu Ling is Seriously Persecuted, both Mentally and Physically, in Hewan Forced Labor Camp

Falun Gong practitioner Liu Ling (female,) from Wuhan City was taken away from home and illegally sent to Hewan Forced Labor Camp for one year of forced labor. Liu Ling refused to comply with their demands and, upon arrival at the forced labor camp, she did not answer the roll call or squat down when ordered. She protested the illegal forced labor, and was cruelly persecuted. Therefore, she was put under 24-hour surveillance, not allowed to sleep, and forced to recite the so-called "forced labor camp rules." If she did not comply, she was abused and beaten by the labor camp personnel. She was strictly monitored for four or five months. Because Liu Ling was deprived of sufficient nutrition for an extended period of time, she frequently had blood in her stool and became very weak, suffering great pain, both mentally and physically. After reporting the persecution situations to higher authorities on numerous occasions without resolution, she protested with a hunger strike but was subjected to a torture method known as "locking up in a small cell"

(Note: The detainee is locked up in a very small cell. The guards brutally handcuff the practitioner on their back in a fixed position, in which the practitioner can neither move nor lie down. The small cell is very damp and without sunshine. Detainees have to urinate and defecate in the cell. Only half of a regular meal is served to detainees locked up in a small cell during the daytime. During the night, the rats are running around. The stench in the small cell is so bad that it is difficult for one to breathe.)

Because she could not get any sunshine and did not have enough food, her whole body had deteriorated, causing damage to her liver and kidneys. Her feet had become so festered that she could not walk. On visitation day, her family members asked to see her, but the evil policemen rejected their request.

[Beijing] Two Falun Dafa Practitioners Are Abducted

Li Zhanjin, a fifty-three-year-old female, was arrested about a month ago because she had related her cultivation experiences to seven or eight other practitioners.

Wang Suyun, a fifty-eight-year-old female, was a teacher in the Beijing University library. In early 2001, the evil policemen illegally detained her and sent her into forced labor because she was found to have truth-clarifying literature about Falun Dafa in her home.

[Beijing] The Crimes of the Evil Policemen on Tiananmen Square

According to recent news, a female Falun Dafa practitioner Sun Huiling, from the Electric Pump Company of the Petroleum Administrative Bureau of Daqing City, validated Falun Dafa on Tiananmen Square in Beijing and was arrested by the Tiananmen police. The evil local policemen did not give her any food or water for three days and three nights, and also used all kinds of means to torture her every day from late night to early morning. They forced her to stand barefoot on the cold floor and poured cold water over the top of her head, forcing her to identify her work unit. She is currently being illegally detained in the Daqing Detention Center.

[Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] The Fascist Acts of Wanjia Forced Labor Camp Hospital

Shang Yuqiu is a thirty-nine-year-old female Falun Dafa practitioner from Harbin City. She was illegally sent to Wanjia Forced Labor Camp in Harbin City for two years of forced labor. In order to uphold justice and ask for a "release without guilt," she went on a hunger strike from October 20, 2001 until November 29, 2001. She was then sent to the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp Hospital. During the forty days of the hunger strike, Shang Yuqiu was force-fed many times. Each time, medical personnel dressed in police uniforms dragged Shang Yuqiu from the bed to the floor and then to the discipline room, where they beat her up and force-fed her.

Such actions are a common sight in the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp. For example, Han Shaoqin, a female Falun Dafa practitioner from Harbin City, went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. She, too, was so badly beaten by medical personnel in police uniforms that she could not get up, left helpless to resist when others force-fed her.

He Miao, a female Falun Dafa practitioner from Bayan County was force-fed because she went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. During the force-feeding, she was badly beaten by the medical personnel.

Liu Guixiang is a fifty-five-year-old female Falun Dafa practitioner in Milin County. When she fainted while being force-fed, the medical personnel began then punching her very hard in the face. When she awoke, her face was black with bruises and swollen. She was spitting blood and had blood in her stool for two or three days following the force-feeding.

[Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Harbin Railway Bureau Extorts Money and Drives Practitioners From Their Homes

Practitioner Huo Changwang is 40 years old and an employee of Harbin Railway Bureau. In February 2000, he went to Beijing to appeal and was detained by Harbin Railway Police Department for 37 days. After he was released into the custody of his employer, Harbin South Railway Station, he was put under 24-hour surveillance for another 45 days. During that period of time, he was dismissed from his job and expelled from the Party. Every month, he was only paid 160 Yuan for basic survival needs. In July 2000, he sent a solemn statement to the Railway Police Department stating his commitment to continue practicing Falun Gong and thus was illegally detained for 30 days. This time, after his release, his employer sent him to do forced labor while under surveillance. In January 2001, this same employer sent him to brainwashing class for 4 months (from January 2^nd to April 23^rd). During this period, he was illegally detained for 15 days. In the end, they decided to send him to forced labor camp. He escaped and was homeless for about half a year. But the Harbin Railway Police Department extended the persecution to his family. His relatives were also dismissed from their jobs and forced to look for him and bring him back to the police.

Practitioner Wang Xiujuan, female, 38 years old, is an employee of Harbin Railway Bureau. In February 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal and was detained for 30 days by the Harbin Railway Police Department. Later, she was sent to work in the Harbin Railway Life and Supply Section and put under 24-hour surveillance for 2 months. She was dismissed from her public position, but allowed to keep her job for 2 years. She was only paid 240 Yuan a month. In April 2000, two unscrupulous staff from the Harbin Railway Life and Supply Section Wang Chonggao and Li Yuping extorted 1000 Yuan from her. In July 2000, she went to the Harbin Railway Police Department to publicly state that she would continue practicing Falun Gong and thus she was illegally detained again for 30 days. From January 17, 2001 to May 27, 2001 she was again put under 24-hour surveillance. In the end, she went on hunger strike to protest the violation of her basic human rights and was allowed to go home. After she was released, her employer sent people to monitor her and threatened to take her to court. Under such pressure, she had to leave home and wander about homeless.

[Chengde City, Hebei Province] Chengde City Practitioners Disclose Experiences of Persecution

A few evil people in power have escalated their persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. In the Chengde area, during the Chinese Spring Festival, the police of the detention centers in Kuancheng and Weichang Counties tortured two practitioners to death. Another practitioner Li Guifang from Xiaolaohugou was illegally detained for over 5 months and tortured; she developed mental problems due to the torture she suffered. In the recent 9 months, over ten practitioners including Ma Benshun from Chengde Nationality Vocational School and Guan Zhenyou from the affiliated hospital of the school were cruelly tortured many times.

Ma Benshun said the following about the torture he experienced:

I obtained Dafa in Fall 1997. The physical and mental benefits I experienced from Dafa were so great that I could hardly find the words to describe them. But Jiang Zemin openly disobeyed the constitution and started to persecute practitioners. On July 15, 2001, I was illegally taken to the National Security Brigade of Shuangqiao District and handcuffed to a heating pipe for one day and one night. In the afternoon of the 16^th, I was sent to Chengde City Detention Center. During that night, a few people from the National Security Brigade dragged me to an interrogation. They put shackles on me and forcibly took away my eyeglasses. While I was being dragged out through the door, Liu Mingcheng of the National Security Brigade kicked me in the front. I denounced their illegal behavior but that didn't stop them. They took me to Liu Mingcheng's office on the fourth floor of the police department. The Director of the Brigade, Lu Feng came in and cursed me and then ordered Liu Mingcheng to "teach me a lesson." He turned to me and said, "Let's see who is smarter." Later, they assigned two hired security guards to monitor me and make sure that I did not sleep and then they all left.

Being a practitioner, I could not passively accept the persecution, nor surrender to the evil. At first, both of my hands were handcuffed and my two feet were shackled. Later, Zhang Huaimin came in and took off one of the handcuffs. I took this opportunity to pull my feet up and push the lock on the shackles. I was able to open the lock. The two guards near me did not seem to hear anything. I was surprised and tried the other lock. It opened as well. Around 4 AM, I tried to take off the other handcuff. I moved my hands in different directions and finally got my hands free. The guards were still chatting. I stepped on the chair and then the desk and jumped out through the window. But I fell to the concrete ground. (Since they had taken away my glasses I couldn't see where I was.) When I woke up, I found I was in the city hospital and was severely injured. Later, several police from the police department complained "we can't follow every trick designed by our superiors. Whenever any accident happens, they never take any responsibility. We are the ones left dealing with the problems." I concluded that this was a trap set by the top leaders of the police department.

At the beginning of the medical treatment, the police department was cooperative with the hospital. But later when they heard that the operation would cost 20,000 to 30,000 Yuan, they changed their attitude. I told them they should release me and let my family take me home. We have our own method to deal with any problem. They did not need to take responsibility for anything. Of course they were happy and agreed. But they had to get the permission of their superiors. At the same time, my wife was also illegally detained in a detention center and later transferred to Xiaban city to be interrogated, tortured, and hung up. Our 5-year-old child was missing.

So I had to wait in the hospital without any treatment and without my basic needs met because the police department refused to pay. With no other choice, I bore the pain and tried to walk out of the hospital. The guards saw me and brought me back. Then the Deputy Director of the City Police Department Li Jincheng came. He shouted and cursed consistently and ordered the District Police Department around. Under his control and direction, the District Police Department threatened the hospital into issuing a release form to allow me to leave the hospital and sent me to the detention center. When the police guards at the detention center saw my condition, they immediately refused to accept me. But with the order from City Police Department they changed their rules for acceptance and justified it with the following line, "In a hospital a patient is determined to be in critical condition based on the condition of his health. Here in our detention center, we have a different standard."

Eventually good will be met with good and all evil deeds will receive just retribution. Here we remind all people who still have some kindness in their hearts not to help the vicious people for any immediate perceived benefit and gain. This will only bring endless regret and pain.

(Note: When Ma Benshun was first sent to the hospital, the doctors diagnosed him with a fractured backbone at his waist and his ankle was also fractured. On August 5^th, he was sent to the detention center. Though he had received no medical treatment, by mid-September, because of our Teacher's compassion, he could walk by himself and could sit for a long time.)
