A Kind Heart Towards Dafa Saved My Life

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a relative of some Falun Dafa practitioners. I am 64 this year, and I live on Xinli Street, Lanxi County, in Heilongjiang Province To those who do not understand what Falun Dafa is, I always kindly tell them the truth: Falun Dafa is good, and I strongly support the Dafa practitioners in my family because I know that Dafa is completely different from the description given by the [Chinese state-run] media. Not only did Dafa give my family members good health, it also once saved my life.

The fact is that on December 15, 2001, I went to my cousin's place to participate in a wedding ceremony. After 4:30 p.m., it was dark and I was heading home on a bicycle. When I was riding from north to south on the Harbin-Heihe highway about 1 km south of Dongyao, I suddenly heard a loud bang and thought that there had been an accident behind me. Then I flew into the air from the bicycle but fell gently down to the ground like a feather after being tossed out about 7 or 8 meters. At this moment, however, a mini-truck happened to drive up and its bumper caught against my head and the whole of my body was pulled along between the tires. I was dragged forward and felt severe pain on my face. Instead of being scared to death, I had a thought in my mind: at this time only Falun Dafa could save me. Just with such a thought, my head was separated from the bumper and, then, I just felt that my right arm had touched the bottom of the truck and my left foot reached a hold around the left back tire.

Miraculously, I finally managed to disengage my body from the truck, while the truck kept going for another 5-6 meters. Lying on the ground, I felt my face was wet all over. About one minute later, somebody stepped down from the truck and asked: "Are you ok?" "I'm ok," I replied on the ground. Without any further care, the guy drove away immediately. Slowly I rose to my feet and found with surprise that my arms and legs were unhurt. When I went back to get my bicycle and hat, I found that I had been pulled for over 100 meters and my clothes had been worn to pieces and the back wheel of my bicycle was badly damaged. There was still 3 or 4 kilometers distance away from my home, so I had to trudge along with the damaged bicycle alone for more than 1 hour.

Seeing my bloody face when I appeared at the door, my children were extremely scared, and they sent me to the hospital immediately. The medical examination there showed that my face and wrists were slightly wounded, but there was no problem with my eyes, ears, nose, and lips.

It is a miracle that an old man of more than 60-years-old like me could survive such an accident and the bones were not broken or fractured at all even after being thrown for 7-8 meters and dragged by the vehicle for over 100 meters. Full of excitement, I understood that it was Falun Dafa that saved my life. There is no language I can find to express my gratitude towards Dafa.
