A Courageous Mayor Uses Various Methods to Release 50 Falun Gong Practitioners Unconditionally
(Clearwisdom Net) A mayor in a certain Chinese city has spent the last two
years personally studying and observing Falun Gong, trying to find out the truth
about it. His conclusion is that "Falun Gong practitioners place a lot of
importance on virtue and doing good deeds. They emphasize the cultivation of
their xinxing (moral character). They have no tendency to commit
violent acts, and they pose no threat to the stability and security of society
at all." Instead of Falun Gong practitioners causing disruption to society,
he found that the persecution of Falun Gong was disrupting the lives of hundreds
of people in the city. Therefore, the mayor has taken action and used various
methods to release close to 50 Falun Gong practitioners from police custody
unconditionally.
