Huang Ke, male, about 30 years old, is a Dafa practitioner from Fushun City, Liaoning Province who works for the Fushun Petroleum Chemicals Research Institute. He lives in Wanghua District, Fushun City, which belongs to the Xinming Street Administrative Office. The Office asked to talk with him in December 2001, then kidnapped him and took him to the Wujiabao Detention Center. He has suffered severe persecution at the Wujiabao Detention Center since December 2001. According to a reliable source, he was pushed head first from the third floor of a building and was badly injured with up to three broken ribs. He is currently under emergency care in the Third Hospital of Fushun. Information is tightly controlled by the detention center, so the details of his condition are not known.

His wife Zhong Yunxiu was also a Dafa practitioner. They went together to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa in 1999 and were arrested. On their way back, while being escorted by the police to Fushun, and to escape from the police, Zhong jumped from a moving train and was killed (Minghui Net reported her story). At that time, he had only his old father, sick mother, and his two-year old child left at home. Under such deep sorrow and difficult conditions, the Security Office of Huang's work unit and the local "610" office [a bureau specifically created by the Chinese government to persecute Falun Gong. It has absolute power over each level of administration in the Party, as well as over the political and judiciary branches] still tried to compel Huang to write guarantee statements against Falun Dafa. Huang refused to write them. The "610" office then detained him from October 1999 to January 2001. Huang was released only after his family paid a huge sum of money as a guarantee. Now he is severely injured. How cruel that the persecution could bring such misery to an otherwise happy family.

Wujiabao Detention Center has caused death, injury or mental disorders to about 10 Falun Gong practitioners. They recently started a new round of persecution and have illegally kidnapped many more Dafa practitioners.

We call on the international community to pay attention to the cruelty and savage persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in the Wujiabao Detention Center. Please help to stop the killing!
