1. [Beijing] Persecution of Falun Dafa Practitioners in the Beijing No. 2 Research Institute of the Aerospace Ministry

Many people in the No. 2 Research Institute of the Aerospace Ministry have benefited from Falun Dafa. After obtaining the Fa, one practitioner set the standard of a cultivator for herself and has persisted in studying the Fa and doing the exercises. Numerous illnesses that she had been suffering from disappeared in no time. She benefited both mentally and physically. After July 20, 1999, the police department, the police station, and her own work unit all sent people to her home to force her to give up practicing Falun Dafa. They even threatened to send her to the notorious Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. To resist the persecution, she had to leave her family and become homeless and destitute. Her son was followed and continues to be watched. For over two months, the No. 2 Research Institute stationed personnel at her son's company. Her family has never ceased being harassed.

Another Falun Dafa practitioner was also forced to become homeless and destitute, but the police have continued to pressure her family. The harassment even extended to her daughter-in-law's company. Her family members could no longer work or live normally. After failing to locate her, the authorities took her husband (who is over 70 years old) to a brainwashing class to inundate him with lies in an attempt to stir up dissatisfaction and hatred toward Falun Dafa among her family members in preparation for further persecution.

2. [Gansu Province] Where are You, Yu Huiping?

Falun Dafa practitioner Yu Huiping, about 50 years old, worked in the archive office of a provincial organization in Gansu Province. She used to suffer from heart disease, kidney problems, and arthritis. After surgery for stomach cancer she could not get out of bed and experienced terrible pain. In 1997, she started learning and practicing Falun Dafa. Not long after, she was able to get out of bed to practice the exercises that require movements. Then she was able to start to work again. She became a totally different person from what she had been before, when her family members had to cook and do laundry for her. After practicing Falun Dafa, she was able to cook for the family and do most of the housework. All of her family was grateful for the happiness that Falun Dafa had brought to them.

On July 20, 1999, Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan and their followers started the persecution. Yu wanted to uphold justice for Falun Dafa and restore the good name of the founder of Falun Gong. She decided to go to Beijing to tell the government, from her personal experience, that "Falun Dafa is good!" In January 2000, she left a long letter to her husband detailing her intention and determination to go to Beijing and her expectation that her entire family would understand her actions. Then she headed for Beijing all by herself.

It has been almost three years. No one has ever heard from her again. It is not known whether or not she is alive or where she is.

3. [Jilin Province] Falun Dafa Banners Appear along National Route 102

In the early morning hours of October 1, 2002, about one hundred banners clarifying the facts of Falun Dafa appeared along sections of National Route 102 from Songhuajiang Town to Xiajiadian Township in Dehui City, Jilin Province. The light wind helped unfurl the banners, which displayed to the people passing by the determination of the Falun Dafa practitioners and the grace of Falun Dafa.

4. [Pi County, Sichuan Province] Criminal Record of the Head of Pi County, Sichuan Province

In 2001, a total of six Falun Dafa practitioners from Pi County in Sichuan Province went to Beijing to uphold the Fa. Because of this, Deng Gongli, the head of Pi County, was denied the opportunity to contend for the position of vice mayor of Chengdu City. He was so angered by this public embarrassment that his hatred toward Falun Dafa increased. Just before the Spring Festival in the Chinese lunar calendar, he ordered a surprise campaign and rounded up over two hundred Falun Dafa practitioners from their homes and sent them to brainwashing classes. He took harsh measures to continue to place those who were firm in their beliefs under illegal custody in the Pi County Detention Center.

5. [Wuxue City, Hubei Province] Please Save the Children in Wuxue City, Hubei Province

The political thugs in Wuxue City, Hubei Province are continuing to commit evil deeds by forcing students at school to watch slanderous films that defame Falun Dafa. Even elementary school pupils have not been spared.
