Practitioners Clarify the Facts about the Persecution of Falun Dafa to Northern California Mayors

(Clearwisdom.net) On the evening of September 30, 2002, the Northern California Women Voter's Group invited the mayors of Fremont, Newark, and Union City to attend its conference. After hearing this news, several Dafa practitioners set out to attend the conference and to clarify the facts about the persecution of Falun Dafa in China to the local officials and voters.

The meeting started with each mayor making a 10-minute speech, followed by questions from voters. Practitioners took the opportunity to make a speech clarifying the facts about the persecution of Falun Dafa. The persecution of Falun Dafa by Jiang's regime has extended overseas and directly threatened the interests of voters. Jiang's regime spreads lies about Falun Dafa through its foreign media, attempting to stir up hatred toward Falun Dafa and practitioners in local Chinese communities. Practitioners urged the Mayors to pay close attention to what this regime is doing and continue to support Falun Dafa as they have done before.

After the speech, the three mayors thanked the practitioners for the information and expressed their intention to pay further attention to the persecution of Falun Dafa by the Jiang government. After the conference, practitioners discussed more about the persecution with the mayors and asked them to learn more about the current situation of the persecution of Falun Dafa and Dafa practitioners.
