Lu Chunyang, 40 years old, was the office director of the Trade Bureau of Sanhe City, Hebei Province. His wife, Li Yonglian, was a teacher in the Fourth Elementary School in Sanhe City. The couple was fired from their workplaces in 2000 because they practiced Falun Gong. They immediately lost their income, and were forced to abandon their home to avoid further persecution. Their teenage daughter had to stay with her grandmother.

On the morning of September 25, 2002, Lu Shunyang went to his hometown in a rural area and was kidnapped by the police of Beicheng Police Station, who were waiting for him for days. Seven to eight policemen beat him up terribly. He was so severely wounded that the policemen had to send him to the hospital for emergency treatment. Both barefoot and bare from his waist up, the policemen threw him in a police car after a rough and quick medical treatment, which cost more than 600 Yuan [Average monthly income is about 500 Chinese Yuan per person in urban areas and less than 190 Yuan in rural areas.]. He was driven to an anti-Falun Gong brainwashing class in Langfang. Sources said that Lu Chunyang went on a hunger strike. No further information on him is available.

He Yafen, around 50 years old, was an accountant in the Sanhe Power Plant in Hebei Province. She was fired because she practiced Falun Gong and had to stay away from her home for more than one year to avoid further persecution. Recently she returned home. In the early evening on September 28, 2002, while taking a walk with her family, she was kidnapped by the police. Her whereabouts are unknown.

Liu Yong, female, is over 40 years old. She had been detained and persecuted by the police many times. On one of those occasions, she was taken right off the street by policemen. They took her, along with another two practitioners Zhang Zhenqin and Zhang Hongxia, to a forced labor camp in Tangshan City, Hebei Province. On September 29, she was kidnapped again. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

To the kindhearted people and international organizations, we call for your help to stop Jiang regime's national terrorism against innocent citizens. All practitioners, please send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate evil and free the imprisoned practitioners.
