One evening, I studied "Lunyu" (the preface to Zhuan Falun) together with my husband. He recited from memory and I read along with him silently, correcting him whenever there was a mistake. After finishing, he had made a total of three to four minor mistakes. He patted his head at this moment, wondering why even though he has been reciting "Lunyu" for such a long time now, he still seemed to always make mistakes in those same specific areas. I didn't pay special attention to his concern, thinking that the modern Chinese language was not as easy to recite as the ancient Chinese and all of his mistakes were minor. It would be all right if he just took note of it and tried to do better next time.

Shortly after, we drove to the Chinese Consulate to send forth righteous thoughts. Along the way, my husband said that after thinking about it carefully, he realized that it was not coincidental that he always made mistakes in the same areas while reciting. Because he always failed to improve in the areas where he made mistakes, it showed that he had a lack of in-depth understanding of the Fa. Only if he genuinely realized the seriousness of Dafa could he realize the implication of the Fa in the places where he made mistakes. If he had improved, next time he could genuinely avoid making those mistakes again. When we compare the words we made mistakes on with the words that our Teacher uses, we could really enlighten to many things.

After listening to what my husband said, I thought for a long time. From a few words that he made mistakes on when reciting, he was able to see the deeper implication of the Fa that he had never seen before as well as the seriousness of Dafa. Every word of our Teacher demonstrates the power of Dafa. If we fail to read attentively and thus make careless mistakes when reading, then those words will lose their implications and the power of Dafa. My husband's experience showed me that we still had omissions in our Fa-study, which could in turn impede our improvement as well as cause more interference for us in Fa-rectification.
